Worth seeing just to witness how winsome it is.

The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

Most of the big studio films out there try way to hard to go for the joke. These filmmakers actually put some thought behind the style of the humor. Yes there was a little too much bathroom humor for some people, but I strongly suggest that you rent this. I loved it. It reminded me a little of Bottle Rockets by Wes Anderson. There are too many movies that have the same five actors. It's nice to see some fresh faces. I wouldn't be surprised if these brothers become a powerful force within the industry. Just checked out this "little" gem of a comedy film : "LADJ"... Awesome movie and the not the "run of the mill" same old "formula" buddy film story you so often see these days!!!Thomas Ian Nicholas ("Rookie of the Year", "American Pie" fame) was terrific as were all the other cast members... It's what I like (and like to call)- a "great small movie"- more "character driven" with great writing rather than a bunch of mindless violence and big-budget special effects.... This movie gets my vote for becoming the next big sleeper hit ( a la "My Big Fat Greek Wedding") Check it out..... ASAP!!!!!

I saw this movie at one of it's showings and really enjoyed it. I think it's really good for a first effort in writing and directing. Better than a lot of movies that seem to be out there. I have been following Thomas Nicholas' career for years and for someone so young to take on such a huge project as making a movie is awesome. I hope the industry is paying attention to it. The story has a plot and a moral. It is aimed at younger adults, but older ones can enjoy it too. Even though it is about DJ's it could be about the struggles of any two brothers to make it in this world and what an impact it could have on their relationship if things go wrong. I hope it gets picked up by someone soon!V.Wildblood

Got a chance to see this flick at the Vail Film Fastival while I was in the States. Nearly fell off my chair a couple of times. The guy that played Kevin in the American Pie movies is in it. (Was he the guy from Rookie of the Year??). Damn funny stuff.Anyway... cool soundtrack, decent performances all round, great story line. It's actually a pretty original story, which is a nice change from the usual re-hash movies we get these days. It's really weird that a bigger studio didn't pick it up.Go see it as soon as possible.
