The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful

It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.

RELEASED TO VIDEO IN 2006 and directed by Steve Rash, "Bring it On: All or Nothing" is a high school/sports/dramedy about a popular pampered blonde cheerleading captain (Hayden Panettiere) who suddenly transfers to an inner-city school in Los Angeles, an hour away. Can she gel with her new, largely minority school-mates? Will she make the cheer team? "All or Nothing" is the third movie in the franchise. The others are "Bring it On" (2000), "Bring it On Again" (2004), "Bring it On: In it to Win it" (2007), "Bring it On: Fight to the Finish" (2009) and "Bring it On: Worldwide Cheersmack" (2017). The first movie was the only one that was theatrically released and is therefore the most polished in the series as far as overall production quality. This one arguably has the best assortment of women (Panettiere, Daniel Savre, Francia Raisa, Jessica Nicole Fife and Marcy Rylan). The movie starts strong, but loses its mojo in the second half, which is the opposite of the next film in the series, "In it to Win it," which starts weak but has an unexpected confession sequence at the midway point and ends strong. There's a great scene in the first act focusing on Savre's babelicious booty. Sadly, she's deemed "fat" by the other girls when she's easily has the most sex appeal of the female cast. Note to women: Men favor feminine curves, not stick-like bodies that resemble 12 year-old boys. THE MOVIE RUNS 1 hour & 39 minutes and was shot in Los Angeles. WRITER: Alyson Fouse. ADDITIONAL CAST: Gus Carr plays Jesse, a Hispanic dude, while Solange Knowles plays the captain of the cheer team of the inner city school. Cutie Rihanna has a significant peripheral role in the last act. GRADE: B

The third installment of Bring It On is definitely a better sequel compared to the first one.No question about it. This direct-to-video film about cheerleading tells the story of Britney Allen, who just moved in into a new high school after her father lost his job.She comes from a rich family and must adjust to a not-so-rich environment. One way to do it is to join the cheerleading squad of the new school but her membership will definitely be challenged as she captain of the squad. As stated earlier,it is a better sequel Hayden Panettiere and Solange Knowles were able to carry the film with their performance as rivals and make it interesting to the viewer. While there is nothing original nor refreshing in the story nor is it as good as the first film, the performances of both actress made it at least an average film.

Bring It On All Or Nothing is yet another DTV sequel, that is far from originality, but it actually manages to entertain fairly well, and that is quite a feat to pull off for being DTV. Unlike Bring It On Again, this one manages to put in effort to try and be an entertaining film,it gives us likable leads,a better storyline and most importantly develops the characters much better. Granted a lot of the stuff is very cliché|Like Camile picking of Britney as soon as she arrives at the school cause she's white| or the utter predictability of them developing a friendship, but it's all done with likability and professionalism. The characters this time around are quite likable as well. Hayden Panettiere has a lot of spunk, and quite an amount of charisma to carry a film, which is why she made Beth Cooper a modest success. The cheer leading sequences themselves are quite inventive and creative. I thought they did some great stuff near the end, where they managed to create a lot of excitement. I'm not saying this film is great,it's far from being great,it's clichéd,cheesy and gave me everything I expected, but it entertained me a lot more then I thought it would, and since it's DTV,I can't ask for much more then that.Performances. Hayden Panettiere is a Cutie no doubt about it,but she also proved she can carry a film. She reminded me of a young Reese Witherspoon. Good looking, charming, likable with that same mouthy sass that Reese has,and while I'm not saying she's in Reese's league, she has that kind of potential. Solange Knowles is alright here. Her Wigger talk got on my nerves after a while but she did OK for a singer. Gus Carr is the standard love interest, failing to inject any personality into Jessee, his chemistry with Hayden felt forced. Marcy Rylan played the B*tch to perfection,I couldn't stand her. Rhianna does OK in her cameo, she's certainly decent to look at. Rest of the cast do alright.Bottom Line. Bring It On 3 won't make you wanna go out and see it again any time soon, but for a DTV sequel it was actually fairly decent. It passed the time adequately and managed to give me some fair entertainment in the process. Worth a look on a rainy day,or if it's slow moving.5 1/2 /10

without a doubt, one of the most racially prejudiced films i've ever seen, with the prejudice being levelled against Hayden Panettiere as she has to move into a tough inner city school. She is constantly called "white girl" and other slurs based on her colour. Firstly would this be allowed the other way around if a black girl was the butt of all the abuse? and secondly the stereotyping of the ethnic kids from the inner city school is also a disgrace. The writers apparent desire to show they were "hip" also extended to missing the point that the inner city school win the cheerleading competition, not through talent but by intimidating their white opponents!! these overtones to the film took it away from it's expected direction of a harmless lighthearted comedy suitable for a family audience into a vehicle that does none of the participants any credit. Hayden Panettiere has star quality but I would be surprised if any of the rest of the class ever get much further. All in all a charmless film that was a waste of time.
