"The Manor," is the macabre tale of mental patient, Amy Hunter and the horrific events that follow her release from Psychiatrist, Dr. Tryvniak . Amy's mother, Jane feels it best to immerse her daughter in the warm, family atmosphere of Anders Manor, inviting Amy's long lost family to join them at the manor. The Manor, however, has deeper plans for the Hunter Family, as gatecrashers and cultists arrive as the nefarious and ancient demonic force, goes to work, in short order, to sew madness and reap blood.

The acting is good, and the firecracker script has some excellent ideas.

This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.

I really enjoyed this film! It's a breath of fresh air from all the same ghost story movies that Hollywood keeps churning out recently. The cinematography, directing as well as the score bring me back to the days of Carpenter and Argento.

Bad acting, horrible script, stupid story, this is one of my worst mistakes: to have spent almost two hours watching "the manor". I had previously read the 2 reviews published here....I imagine they are the director and the producer jajaja....to say that the film is "bad" is uncomplete. Don't waste time watching "the manor". Period.

Fantastic film. Scary, well shot, talented cast. I really loved this one. Nothing better than a great new horror film with new faces and new creepy stuff!

I enjoyed he hell out of this movie! There have been a few 80's throwbacks in recent years that I liked, but this is the first that really made me feel like I was a kid watching something right off the video store shelf again! Everything from the exaggerated bad acting, the insane lighting, and the visual effects really gives this move the look and feel of an 80's flick. And to top it off, it's got a great ending! Love this movie!
