It’s an especially fun movie from a director and cast who are clearly having a good time allowing themselves to let loose.

In a dystopic society, romantic encounters are scheduled by the A.I. System The Coach. When Frank meets Amy, they fall in love with each other but are forced to interrupt their relationship as per The Coach instruction and meet other partners. After many ups and downs, Amy and Frank decide to rebel against the system and cross the wall to live together in the wilderness. Will their plan work? "Hang the DJ" is a nice and pleasant, but pointless episode of "Black Mirror". Georgina Campbell and Joe Cole show wonderful chemistry but the plot has a disappointing and predictable conclusion. My vote is eight.Title (Brazil): "Hang the DJ"

Hey, what if your dating app used Inside Out style real people running gauntlet challenges to find your perfect match? Wouldn't that be neat? That's just it. Again, no controversy, no dilemmas, no nothing. It's basically a "strange game" type story in which you introduce your characters into a game with set rules and let them play it out. Like Battle Royale, or Danganronpa, or Hunger Games or any other. The appeal in this story lies in people imagening how they would handle this scenario. And this time the final reveal completely negates everything the story. Nothing of this matters, there is nothing to think about, it's just a pointless romantic story.

My youngest daughter, an adult, watched this episode of "Black Mirror" with me...and I could see that she was clearly embarrassed to have dad watching it with her. Why? Well, because there are quite a few sex scenes. Now you really don't see anything...but it was enough to make my daughter feel mighty uncomfortable! As to the story, it's a very enjoyable and original tale about dating in the future. Frank and Amy meet and go on a date...thanks to a computer device that they carry with them and which tells them who to date and when to end the relationship. The computer keeps reminding each of them that they need to date quite a few people and ultimately the computer will hook them up with the perfect mate. However, apart from the short time they had together at the beginning of the story, both Frank and Amy are miserable following along with the computer. So what ultimately happens? I won't tell you. After all, this would ruin the episode and the interesting twists.Like so many episodes of "Black Mirror", this one is highly original and engaging. While you may not love this episode as you sit and watch, keep with it...the ending makes it all worth while and is one of the better episodes.
