Sadly Over-hyped
Entertaining from beginning to end, it maintains the spirit of the franchise while establishing it's own seal with a fun cast
It's entirely possible that sending the audience out feeling lousy was intentional
I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.
This is just another moderate low budget western with murders surrounding five people who know the whereabouts of Billy the Kid's loot and are at risk for becoming the next victim. Allan "Rocky" Lane is on the trail, so there's no doubt that he'll find out who it is or when, but simply just how. Lane is supported by Penny Edwards as the daughter of one of the victims , while Clem Bevan's threatens to steal the thunder every time he is on. (There's always something amusing about those grizzled old coots....). Shooting by quickly, this is moderate entertainment for the limited time you'll spend watching it, pretty much 60 minutes longer than it will take you to forget about it.
