Whats the name of the song (tune) that plays when Havilland enters Lee's room and starts going through his things. The song later plays when she returns to her home and reads Lee's letter and goes through the flashbacks of New Years. In typical R&B soundtrack fashion the song failed to appear on the soundtrack. I have looked for this song for a month and I cant find anyone who can tell me who composed the song whatsoever. This may not be the place to ask for a "music" question but I am desperate and it was the only song that I liked. I have watched the end credits to this movie over and over again only to find that the song was left uncredited. Please end my struggle.

The very first time we (myself and 16 year old daughter) viewed this film, we found it to be hilarious. I'm happy my daughter watched with me for the first time however, due to the clitoris comment made by Hill Harper. It was too mature for her but luckily I was there to bring her back. So, parents take the "R" ratings to heart. Chris Cherot evidently has the same type of sense of humor as we because we were cracking up. It was refreshing to watch normal(educated, well-versed) black folks interacting. It seemed more like a documentary to me. The acting was so natural and I appreciated how true the characters were to their feelings. They all seemed to be so comfortable in their own skin. I would like to know if they ended up together though. Or was the ending a part of Chris's comment at the end "I only sold out a little bit". Also, is there a book available if anyone knows?

I really was pleasantly surprised seeing this film. Never heard of it - just popped up on tv here and I was blown away with the REALNESS of it all. Guess it helped I lived in NY and DC and back in da day, I was a pretty pretentious black chick. I dug this flick and look forward to "G".

Christopher Scott Cherot is impressive with his many talent's as far as this movie goes, but something is missing, like a few more laughs. I just didn't think it was all that funny, with the impression that this was a romantic comedy. I did like the character he played, Lee Plenty, as he was the most likable. Chenoa Maxwell, who played Hav, even though she is very attractive, was very irritating in this movie. Definitely worth a look, though.
