You go to see a movie, probably with some friends. Maybe you are watching it at home, via the internet or DVD. You laugh, you point, you share food. You're young; you're not looking for an examination of life's poignancy, so there's no need for subtlety in plot -- in fact, it's better if there isn't. Songs should announce themselves with drastic volume increases, cars should swoop by and screech when halting. People shout, pose, preen, plead, scold, threaten. Jump cuts keep it moving. "Energy" is the key. A movie for those who don't pay much attention. I myself have no use for it, but obviously someone does.

Is this a horror movie???? No! This is a action movie, comedy movie, musical movie and a ridiculous movie in one old dirty blender. Oh wait! Did i forget that this is a horror movie? Well i don't think this is a horror movie at all. The only scary part(considered) is a 2 second close up shot of Ganga's possessed face. Other than that, this movie is a waste of time. The film begins with Senthilnaathan winning a contract. Therefore, his rival sends in some goons to assault Senthilnaathan's office workers and then as usual the hero(Rajini Khan) makes an appearance and the way Rajini Khan walks into the battlefield is just priceless. You will be surprised at the amazingly bad graphics and bad fight choreography. In fact, is this scene even necessary? To make it even worse, this guy is a psychiatrist. Which psychiatrist goes around beating up goons in a "Kollywood Matrix" style. The first scene itself makes no sense. What about the comedy scenes in this movie? Which horror movie contains a comedy scene. Unless if you are talking about black humor, that is fine for a movie that bears the horror genre. Seriously, romantic songs in a horror movie? That makes so much sense right? The worst part of the movie is another ridiculous fight scene which isn't necessary at all. It is not even part of the main plot. So why do you have to include a fight scene? I cannot blame Rajini Khan. I have to blame the director of this movie. He just does not know how to make a horror movie and the surprising thing is that this movie is a hit. Wake up Indians! This movie is an insult to Rajini Khan and the other actors. In conclusion, this movie is ridiculously stupid.

A very nice and different Rajini movie. Though you don't see any special punch dialogues,Rajini does show his class and why he is a super star,which is what precisely fans want too. The story has a lot of substance giving everyone scope to perform. Jyothika excels. She definitely has the audience spell bound. Sasikala who has given Telugu voice has done an amazing job. Prabhu and Vineeth have done their job really well too. Vadivelu-Rajini combo is nice. The rest of the supporting cast is good too. The special effects,lighting and sound is amazing. The minor flaws in the movie can definitely be over-looked if you are out to enjoy the movie. Watch it for Rajini and Jyothika. Both show their class. All Rajini fans and Jyothika fans WILL LOVE IT. Am a fan of both and well,I loved it.

I watched the movie on the first day 2nd show . I was very thrilled to watch Rajni after a long time. The movie started good as usual , but sucks at end !. The worst climax i have ever seen !. I think it is the fault of the director Vasu. Though it was a Malayalam remake , I don't know why Vasu has messed up in the end . Music is as usual , made exclusively for Rajni. Vadivelu Comedy sucks ! The story was good , but screenplay is Bad. Its about curing a person (Jyothika) with split-personality , but Jo messed up ( overacted )and looked more like a ghost !.Prabhu had no great role , but had a jackpot as a producer.Overall its somewhat OK than the worst "Baba"! Will run for 200 days in Tamilnadu .
