Ok... Let's be honest. It cannot be the best movie but is quite enjoyable. The movie has the potential to develop a great plot for future movies

A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.

I can honestly say that I actually really enjoyed watching this movie. I honestly don't care that this movie was 100% full of clichés but I actually like movies that are like that. Yeah it may not be good, but its at least very enjoyable, well to me at least. its a movie, like the remake of Black Christmas, thats usually watched for more entertainment than actually being watched intently and carefully for a storyline or whatever. Once again, its a movie that I actually really liked, and i can say there were some few times that I actually saw some pretty good acting and ideas but were just executed terribly. I'd say its decent, not amazing, but not horrible in my opinion.

The original Prom Night was a Canadian slasher flick starring Jamie Lee Curtis. It had amazing, fast-paced disco music by composer Paul Zaza, an original plot, great acting and a creepy cast of possible suspects. This version of Prom Night has just piggybacked off the classic original. It has very little in terms of originality, boring and unmemorable modern soundtrack, bad acting and a predictable killer. People will probably disagree with me but remakes are never better than the classics. I'm not some out-of-date old man, I'm eighteen, but I still love the classic 80's slashers the best.If you have any sense left, stick with the original Prom Night, or at least watch the other three in the series, they're much better than this load of garbage.

Honestly, I don't know what a lot of people are talking about. The acting is pretty good to me and there are a decent amount of horror scenes that make you jump up. I guess there's not as much gore as I'd expect it but the little amount of gore that they had in this movie was very well done and it looked pretty real unlike some other horror movies these days that go way over the top with orange and pink blood. I love horror movies myself but I'm not picky if there's a little extra something in a horror movie. For instance, I think the problem with this movie is that it is claimed to be a horror movie but actually there are the same amount of drama scenes and action scenes. Not to mention that there seemed to be a lot more suspense scenes than horror scenes. Overall, I really enjoyed the movie and I really think that the acting on the actors starring in this movie was well done.

A teen is chased by a serial killer during a school prom night. This film is lacking in many different ways but the main thing is the bad plot. The entire plot can be explained in one sentence and here it is: Donna goes to prom where her friends get killed. There is no originality to the story and the entire thing can be guessed in the first 5 minutes. The acting was horrible and this was probably the scariest part of this movie besides the budget. I was rooting for the killer just to not hear them talk anymore. Some of these actors played better corpses than their roles!!! How does a killer go through a whole movie without getting a drop of blood on himself after killing multiple people with a knife? Prom Night. What is the worst way to spend $20,000,000? You make a movie called Prom Night.I normally try not to review bad films but I have to make this exception. The only horror of this film was that it was made and that it cost $20,000,000. Everything from the direction to the acting was horrid. Do yourself a favor and stay away.
