It's complicated... I really like the directing, acting and writing but, there are issues with the way it's shot that I just can't deny. As much as I love the storytelling and the fantastic performance but, there are also certain scenes that didn't need to exist.

This is a dark and sometimes deeply uncomfortable drama

I utterly dislike Brendan Ó Carroll's comedy which is being rude and foul mouthed Mrs Brown this is just same as the unfunny and stupid television series I really don't see how why Mrs Brown's Boys D' Movie was released Keith Lemon The Film is a better character comedy film should have released Bridget And Eamon film instead

If you have only seen the second version of the show, this movie is a bit confusing. For some reason they decided to go with things from the first series like Agnes having six kids and owning a vegetable stand. They also say that ninjas are from China and I'm pretty sure they weren't joking. The entire plot is non-sense.There's a scene where she eats breakfast at a diner. No matter which version of the show you go with, Agnes Brown would never go out for breakfast. The only good change is that Grandad has a much bigger part.He has more lines in this movie than he did in the entire series and he's really funny. For some reason they decided to use the fake bloopers in the movie which just doesn't make any sense, but it makes more sense than having Agnes push a pram around. The best part was seeing Brendan O'Carroll do a different character even though that character just sounded like Agnes with a lisp.Changing the subtitles to Russian when the Russians started speaking English was funny but this movie put too much emphasis on the serious stuff. While it's not a complete disappointment, it is more proof that TV shows should not be made into movies.

Honestly you just have to laugh at this film, it would really hurt your jaws from laughing! Even though, I wouldn't call it my favorite quite frankly.I would rather just say to someone that it's just a movie I've seen because I was pretty much bored.I really liked how they use some bloopers like in the show, it really means that the show is still there. I mostly enjoy watching the show where there's an audience, I suppose that's the cause of why it got a bad rep. I suppose people wouldn't understand the thick Dublin accent, sure at least it was typical but not too rough of a movie.

Ironically, I was in London the week before this movie came out and was very excited to see public transport with posters promoting the movie. Returning to sunny South Africa, I waited in anticipation for the release of the title here. All I can say is "Frek off" to the producers and director of this piece of drivel. The show lacked punch, the story line was weak and the acting looked forced. As if they needed material just to "fill in" the movie. In all honesty, it was a waste of time...I fell asleep halfway through the show and finally just walked out 30 minutes before the end. Stick to the 30 minute explosive comedy episodes...
