The thing I enjoyed most about the film is the fact that it doesn't shy away from being a super-sized-cliche;

Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.

This movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.

When Jacob was laying on the floor after the embalming fluid was put in him. I was like dude take that knife and cut his head off. They killed everyone and made no sense how Jacob survived. All of his blood was drained out of him. The Hospital didn't make sense. Hospitals still have security or Dr.s or Nurses around at night and everyone else whose at the hospital. So it made no sense to choose a hospital for this. Really stupid moments in this film. When a Dude is chasing you it is not the time to have a break down or a falling in love moment. Get out of there. I was hoping the big dude would have had a bit of a fight in him. Like Knock Jacob down or win a struggle or two. He just simply killed everyone. And in that killed the story. No hero at the end nothing. I did love how the nerdy hero dude threw those shelves when he first encountered Jacob. He just pushes it over in front of him. That must've stopped him. LOL This movie just sucked all the characters were stupid. You're in a hospital. You're smart. Like used the stuff Amy used to colorize the guy's wound. And use it to burn Jacob with. And she needs to learn how to swing a hammer.And the girl's name is Katie and she's riding Kane thinking he's dead. For you's who don't know. Their was a story line back in like 2003 I think, where it was revealed that Kane had a girlfriend named Katie Vick who died in a car accident. And the story revealed that Kane had sex with Katie's dead body. So it's interesting to me as a fan that they have a character named Katie assuming to flirt with a dead Kane. Show less REPLY

Working on the graveyard shift, workers at a birthday party at a local hospital morgue find the hulking body that was just delivered is a still-alive serial killer responsible for a recent killing spree and sets out to continue killing forcing them to stop the madman.This wasn't all that bad of a sequel and definitely had some solid moments at work. This one here is mostly enjoyable when it stays on the simple-minded track of being what a good slasher should be where this certainly gets some solid work in here. The first attack of his resurrection, where he approaches the humping couple off in the side-room by turning off the lights and then appearing behind them when they finally score a light-source on is a fine suspenseful sequence, as well as the multitude of stalking the party-goers inside the hallways of the hospital where he sets about getting some rather nicely-handled stalking scenes against them. From the rattled panic of trying to find one of the endless rooms to hide in or the absolutely amazing scene in the bathroom where he traps two in different segments and must try not to alert him to either presence yet still try to get out alive which is quite the fun and impressive sequence as well as the fun pitched battle at the end where he begins throwing them around the hospital and generating some solid action that makes fantastic use of his imposing size advantage within the cramped setting. There's some solid work here as well with the few small details in the kills where it showcases the aftermath of the different kills here which gives this one some rather nice kills and graphic moments coming across their mutilated remains. Though that does come off nicely, it also highlights the first of the film's flaws here in that really start with that one feature. Though we do get some really graphic kills here, most of them occur off-screen and only feature the group stumbling upon them later, rendering them to such throwaway status that there's barely anything that can be taken from them. They mostly just seem to gloss over them and simply cuts away before the big moment leaving only a few minor pieces of blood-splatter on-screen rather than getting to the actual shot here. As well, the fact that this becomes all the more apparent due to the film's surprisingly low body-count where it doesn't really have a ton of choices to begin with here so the timing of this one does feel a little off here throwing the deaths into small spurts and then not going through on it's best work at that point, which leaves the kills all around pretty unsatisfactory with a small cast getting bloody and brutal deaths for the most past off-screen. The last problem here is the ending, which scores nicely with the surprise death and the big finale brawl around the hospital resulting in an appropriate and grisly death, but the final shock moment blatantly ignores what happened moments before merely to get a cheap jump that won't work based on the actions that just occurred moments earlier. It's a lame and unsatisfactory ending that leaves this with a sour impression, but is otherwise still a fine enough slasher.Rated R: Graphic Violence, Graphic Language and mild sexual antics.

What's not to like about frolicking, fornicating, partying young adults being brutally murdered one by one? "See No Evil 2" liberally borrows from "Friday the 13th". If you've watched "See No Evil" and you're reading this review then you know that Jacob (Kane) wasn't killed. I know, absurd huh? Well, there's your "Friday the 13th" mimic. A giant of a man that's nearly impossible to kill--slaughtering young adults. Oh yeah, and he wears a mask.This movie was a kick back light weight slasher. There was blood, of course, but it was fairly tame. They gave us the obvious favorites to live and the clear favorites to die. Just like all slasher films; dumb decisions will be made, the laws of physics don't always apply and the killer is omnipresent. If you're not bothered by these oft-repeated truisms then you'll enjoy.

Unfortunate misfire for the promising Soska sisters, stuck with a sequel to a forgettable slasher that wasn't worthy of one. Kane of WWE returns after flatlining in an ambulance from the previous film's injuries. Danielle Harris stars in yet another horror sequel that proves how unfortunate her talents are wasted. She works in the morgue as an assistant. It is her birthday, and she winds up being stuck in the hospital trying just to stay alive to see the next day. But the previous film's victims are to be brought to the hospital. Katherine Isabelle, having revived her career with the Soskas' "American Mary" squanders that here with a wretched character and equally awful performance. She's the morbid type who bumps and grinds for her boyfriend on top of Kane's corpse. She's fascinated with serial killers and can't help but visit the body of Jacob Goodnight. He just awakens (how? who knows...) and starts killing Harris' friends (she works at the morgue/hospital he was carried to). Visions of mama wreaking havoc on his psyche pop up every now and then to remind us why Kane is so screwed up. Jacob Goodnight bursts through doors and stabs a lot of people. Harris' potential boyfriend, a geeky employee her brother doesn't think is good enough for his big sis, winds up being the actual hero of this waste of time. Nice photography/lighting can't salvage the basic formula crap that has nothing inventive or imaginative to offer. This film is basically the previous film in a morgue this time. Goodnight gets to cause a lot of damage to rooms in the morgue, that's for sure. Isabelle's hysterics (the smeared mascara, jittery fingers, and hesitation speaking in the attempts to convey her scaredy-cat fear is laughable) are hard to watch, but Harris braves the situation the best she can. Kudos to the film for not going the typical final girl route...but it isn't like slashers haven't in the past. The victim list is because of a gathering of Harris' friends at the morgue for her birthday. It just so happens that Goodnight is in the morgue to crash this party. He doesn't even rip out eyes in this one.
