A Major Disappointment
It's an amazing and heartbreaking story.
This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.
The movie was good but the ending made it go from "this movie i can see again to hell no"

I will give it a 4 because:-the music was almost the original, since it was more of a musical...meh -the last dance... I mean... come on... The original was magnificent, filled with emotions and power... this one... nope...-it was nice to see more of some second characters -her sister was not that nice... Stop changing characters as you please, it destroys the story...-the ending... come on... You ruined everyone, and I mean everyone's fantasy with Jonny and Baby being forever together... why would you do that? Just for the plot twist? This is a drama-romance story, not some experiment. -the beginning and last scene... even i saw better green screen usage at a pro gamer stream. Would have been too much effort to use an actual street? -you broke my heart... gonna watch the original now. Cya, and never remake Dirty Dancing again. Please...
Terrible remake. Bad acting and the person who did casting should be hung! At least Jennifer Grey was thin and attractive in a way. Baby was mediocre at best and chunky. Not a good choice for the character. Patrick Swayze would not be happy with his replacement either! If you are going to do a remake, use characters that compliment the originals, not desecrate them! If there was a 0, I would have rated it that. Would not recommend this movie to anyone!
