In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.

It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.

The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.

The story follows a team of fictional secret agents called Baby; which is a temporary task force headed by Feroz Khan (Danny Denzongpa) formed in response to the 2008 Mumbai attacks whose job is to find and eliminate terrorists who are planning attacks in India. While attempting to rescue a fellow Indian security agent in Turkey, Ajay Singh Rajput (Akshay Kumar) captures a traitor Jamal (Karan Anand) who formerly worked under Ajay and threatens to kill his family unless he gives them the information about their terror attack plans on India. Ajay is told about a terrorist plot to cause a bomb blast in a Delhi mall which he and Jai (Rana Daggubati) are able to prevent. In the process they learn that this was only the first, of a series of massive attacks that had been planned. Pakistan based terrorist mastermind, Maulana (Rasheed Naz), is causing trouble near the India-Pakistan border. He plans and executes a daring prison escape plan for Bilal (Kay Kay Menon).

As soon as the movie starts, it gives a feel of a sensible thriller without any unnecessary commercial touch. First half is a little build up and comparatively boring but the second half sets the pace perfectly and justifies all the actions that director wanted to show. There were no dramatic scenes to create needless emotions. Dialogues were very discreet and action scenes looked very realistic. Best part was the inclusion of absolutely correct amount of perfectly suited humor. Movie is lengthy but so detailed and thrilling that you'll not want it to end at all. It keeps you at the edge constantly for a very long time.Akshay Kumar did almost a perfect job making us think why he doesn't concentrate on only these type of roles. At each instance, he was stupendously delivering what exactly was required. Other actors were just above average but supported Akshay amazingly.Neeraj Pandey's direction was repetitive but repeating the feel of his earlier flicks like Wednesday and Special 26 will not bother anyone. A lot of hard work was sensed in both direction and cinematography that is really appreciative. Background music was attempted with little success albeit it didn't matter at all.Overall it was a wonderfully directed thriller that will literally show what "on the edge of the seat" means.

The movie was amazing. This brings a feel of Patriotism. Akshay Kumar was perfect in his role. I would like to give most of my appreciation to the writer and director of the movie Neeraj Pandey. Neeraj Pandey is proving himself as a different and unique type of writer again and again, his brave work in Special 26 & A Wednesday has made me his fan. Thanks for making this type of movie for the country. Movie like this comes very rarely on bollywood. It is a many times watchable movie, i have watched it three times. Really i enjoyed this movie very much. Critics will definitely find some faults in this movie too. But i am very happy that someone made this type of movie. Keep Up The Good Work Like This

I don't understand, how this movie, at the moment, has a rating of 8.4! This was one of the worst movies I've seen in my life. The story itself is nothing special, but also not too bad. Lets give the story 4-5 stars. That's all good about the movie. The sound is terrible. - sometimes they do slow mo in scenes which shouldn't be in slow mo (it doesn't match) - sometimes they do a fast forward, when they are driving (it makes the movie looking like a b movie from the 90's - When they want to show you how scared they are and want to put their breathing sound in to make some atmosphere, you can clearly hear, that they make breathing sounds straight in the microphone. Totally a-sync as well. - some shootings you can clearly see, that the guns are not fired. - fighting scenes you always see, that they do not hit the other guy. Best was the elbow drop of the woman in the hotel....the elbow was like 25cm away of his face ...but she still knocked him out. - the explosions in the movie are not real...made with computer and you can clearly see this. - when they try to get the prisoner out of the bus, the accident and action scenes are so bad, I could do myself better. - when he shoots the guy in the desert resort, you can clearly see the blood pack....just bad. - when they go in and out of the resort, they try to make it look cool and special how they walk. The jump from 1 meter high sand dunes and act like its a jump from a skyscraper... (for what??) - in the dunes, you can clearly see thousands of foot steps from camera team and movie staff - the movie has many logical mistakes...small ones...but terrible.I could go on for hours. but I wasted so much time on this movie already. This movie must have faked ratings. It is definitely a bad movie.
