While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.

There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes

It is neither dumb nor smart enough to be fun, and spends way too much time with its boring human characters.

First of all I have to admit I never was a big fan of modern musicals... although surprisingly some I find great (just like Chicago), but this one I could only see as an unplanned parody of the genre... The acting was bad, the singing was worse, the dancing... can that even be called dancing?; the way the songs were introduced in the movie was atrocious, the story so old... and the dialogues so stupid.The reasons why I ever gave it a try? One lazy afternoon after lunch after a busy morning, one lies down on the sofa and everything they broadcast seems to be pure rubbish... I really should have switched off the TV the moment the blond girl starts singing Holiday at the passports control...And yes, I admit I enjoyed the movie laughing at (not with) every line, every dance, every stupid moment in this movie.I think if anyone asks me to describe it with one single word I'd say laughable, not enjoyable as a comedy, not so funny I can't stop laughing... but laughable at

I was looking forward to this film as I am a fan of musicals on stage and screen. I have to say the only good thing for me about this film was the rather good looking love interest Giulio Berruti. The storyline was very predictable and again Gilulio good looks made it bearable, as you had to wonder what he saw in either of the sisters... The singing was mediocre, the acting was very amateur and I have to ask what Greg Wise was thinking when he took the part... I did take my mind of the fact that I was watching on a cold winters evening and I did enjoy the singing by Leona Lewis. I do not think it is a musical I would watch again.

I guess most people have not even heard of this musical movie. It is similar to Mama Mia without the big stars, and with pop 80's song instead of just ABBA. People from my age group will recognize all the songs. The interesting thing is this movie has a character similar to Pierce Brosnan in Mama Mia. Can you recall his singing talent? I found it fun to guess and recognize all the songs. However, the dance choreography is quite standard without much wow effect. The acting of some makes you feel like watching high school musical. Overall, I enjoyed watching it but not too many repeat in the future, which is rare for a musical movie.

I really don't get these bad reviews. This is meant to be a fun upbeat film, which it is. You cant help just sitting with a smile on your face while you watch it. The film is so ridiculous that its amazing. The cast randomly burst out in song at inappropriate times and a lot of reviewers have stated that it wasn't good but I found it funny and endearing, it just makes you want to grin. The songs are all classic popular 80s hits that you just want to sing along with, their voices aren't amazing but they are real which I really liked it made the film more enjoyable in my opinion.I loved this film and am looking forward to its DVD release as I will be first in line to buy it. Seriously if you feel like you need a pick me up this is the film to watch.
