its been 14 years since the first movie come out in 2001 and its been 1 day since I watch the first one. I saw this movie come out, Joe Dirt 2? What is this? I never heard of this movie before, so I decided to find the first movie and watch it, yeah, its not really funny but I think the story is really interesting, about the life of Joe Dirt, the adventure he go through everyday makes this movie really good I guess. So, about the second one, I think its totally similar with the first you know, all the funny scene, the atmosphere, jokes is exactly the same with the first one. Even the actor do the really same character like they do 14 years ago, they are so experienced I guess. So, I guess this movie is OK, fun to watch, even though they don't really take this time travel theme seriously but I think the old fans will still love it. Because they manage to make us totally care about Joe Dirt's life, that's what make this movie good. Also don't forget about Brittany Daniel. She's still the same lovable Brandy. A classic Joe Dirt quote that I love, "Life is a garden, dig in".

Guys...let's all calm the fk down, shall we? If you liked Joe Dirt the orig, I don't see how anyone could not like the sequel. Spade did a great job of picking up where the last movie left off and by creating an interesting plot that parodies some of our favorite movies. Inception, Back to the Future ( my fav ), The Wizard of Oz, Forrest Gump, Scrooged and Cast Away. It just doesn't get any better than that. He had most of the original cast AND, he brought back the firework stand joke but it's about drugs!! That's just pure friggin gold. I won't spoil the rest, but it's really well done with loads of new jokes for your enjoyment. I had to pause the movie several times because I was laughing so hard.

So there was so much demand from fans to David Spade, begging him to make a sequel to his quite average creation from the early noughties, he felt the need to respect his fans and make this? David, I think you've lost a lot of credit, and by the look on your face in many scenes, I think you know this. The plot consists of many elements from other movies, most notably The Wizard Of Oz, It's A Wonderful Life, Back To The Future, and Scrooged, but with all the heart and soul from those movies torn out and disposed of.I suppose the moral of the whole film is that the grass isn't always greener, and money doesn't buy you love and happiness, but it seems that the makers have just wanted to string a load of insufferable bodily fluid gags together, throw in a couple of strange cameos and hope that it all turns out well in the end.The majority of the cast from the first film are back, probably because they haven't worked in years, and again, several of the cast members look bemused to be there.Daniels to be fair is really good, at least she looks as if she's putting some effort into it.But it's Spade who comes out the worse for wear in this, and after initially becoming annoyed with his characters loser like like qualities, I found myself actually feeling sorry for Spade, because after the Castaway homage, he really starts to look bewildered and embarrassed with everything that is going on.Spade was once a quite sharp instrument, he really made mundane movies like Black Sheep that little more endearing, thanks to his sarcastic traits. But here, it's all gone, Spade just looks so drained, so tired, it's as if the film is a metaphorical on your knees beg to Adam Sandler to cast him in his next film. And this is a Happy Madison production. When a film makes you feel sorry for a multi-millionaire film star, something is seriously wrong.

Spoiler Alert! Spoiler Alert! Spoiler Alert! Spoiler Alert! This movie was atrocious. The script was horrible. The comedy was mediocre at best. It did retain some of the original cast, and the new faces really didn't do it any favors either. **SPOILER** There's a scene in the beginning of the movie in which a group of of people all practically shart in his face, repeatedly. I didn't quite know what to make of that after I saw it. As the movie dragged on my brothers who loved the original fell asleep half way through. When it was over I came to the conclusion that the Original movie had a lot more going for it. Also 15 years ago peoples attitudes were different to this sort of comedy. Aside from the movies own short comings, which are many, I don't think people will find this movie as funny as the first. Its just not worth seeing really, unless you don't mind boredom.
