Deadly Impact (2010)

Admirable film.

It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.

what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.

Exactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.

I was duped into wasting 1 1/2 hours of my valuable life on this movie because the poster looked like it might be a decent cop movie and the fact that they cast Sean Patrick Flanery who acted in one of my favourite movies of all time (Boondock Saints).As the subject line says, it was full of lame; the story was unbelievable and full of holes, I couldn't find myself caring about this guy who loses his wife, Pantoliano's character was more of a tool than threatening, and I was disappointed that Flanery's acting was so bad. I believe this may have been because he appeared to be trying to hide his Irish accent which was so great in Saints. I am not sure why producers try to do this (except when it is obviously important to the story); albeit some actors are much better than others (eg Colin Farrell in Miami Vice).I try to provide some positive in my reviews (this one is hard), so lets just say watch this purely to put more money into Flanery's pocket to thank him for Saints.

I feel that the rating for this movie needs a little boost from the reviews that are already present. This movie was a lot of fun from the start to the end; a lot better than most of the big blockbusters that come out of the same genre. It's nothing special in the plot line, but I often feel like watching something in the line of Die Hard 3 meets Face/Off and this did it for me. There are certainly things that weren't great, but for me the only thing I have to mention is that it should have spent some more time in post production. The music and colouring really needed some more attention. Don't get me wrong, most of the movie was well coloured and edited, but some scenes (especially the outdoor scenes) made you realize that it was on a moderate budget. I guess that's when they were running out of money and needed to get it out to print.Overall, I would recommend this movie if like cop-terrorist game movies. A lot of action, good pace, solid ending.

I enjoyed the action and the thrill of the movie.It was better then what the trailer showed. The special effects were great and very will executed. The way the movie ended was great out of this world. The acting was some of the best I have seen in a while. The way the movie opened was so good. For a low budget movie it was well worth ever minute to watch I would have to say that the Director was extremely good and did a very great job on. Robert Kurtzman has always been able to give the audience what the wanted as far as action and gore. Sean Patrick Flanery did such an awesome job Acting along with Joe Pantoliano. I would buy the movie and added it to my collection and tell any one to watch it.

fake and boring , I actually turned it of before the end, its been a long time since i have done that during a movie , i cannot stress how much i think this flick was awful , the worst i have seen in a long time, how the other reviewers have given it good rating's is REALLY beyond me ????i would rather watch paint dry .i cannot believe IMDb wants 10 lines of text to submit a review what else can i tell you about this trash ?i honestly cannot think of a movie i have seen in recent years that is worse , and i have seen some rubbish movies in the last few years
