From the beginning, stories of angels and men have captured our imaginations and have been etched into our history crossing all boundaries of culture, religion, and time. These two races have dominated the landscape of modern mythology for countless centuries, almost washing away the evidence that a third ever existed. This third race, born of smokeless fire, was called the jinn. Similar to humans in many ways, the jinn lived invisibly among us and only under dire or unusual circumstances were our paths ever meant to cross.

Did you people see the same film I saw?
One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.
I watched this movie to learn what shouldn't do when shooting a movie.If your time is not important to you and if you curious about how a movie can be done without a story and acting this is the right movie for you.The guy who played Gabriel in this movie is known as Darth Maul and snake eyes; lets just say if this guy doesn't has a mask on his face don't watch the movie.Who wrote this movie shame on you, you just used Islam for such a bad story.Whole movie looks like written at weekend for a homework of a highschool student.
I love this Genre and the premise/description sounded right up my alley. But the direction, film quality and acting are nothing more than a terrible B-movie.It was disjointed, without a coherent storyline and a total waste of time!And BTW, I DID like Prometheus AND Twilight! One reviewer said she was giving it a 10 to balance the Twilight lovers but GIVE ME A BREAK! The Dialogue is terrible, the editing and screen quality was sub-par and I couldn't even watch it all the way through it was so bad! And again, I LIKE this sci-fi/fantasy/horror genre of movies. It was just poorly made, pure and simple. I feel like I like a LOT of movies that get bad ratings and I will watch 10 minutes of something with a storyline I like even if it has a bad rating to make up my own mind.In this case the ratings were spot on...even for me. You can waste your time if you want, but you've had fair warning!
it's really a good movie, but racial discrimination is the problem i know why people here don't like this movie because of the director's name which appears that his origin from middle east , or i might be more exact from Iran. i just wanna say to these sick people, stop discriminating people and remember you also have tons of bad movies, why are you so critical about this one??? we had been discriminated for centuries because i believe you guys are just bunch of ignorants, and i have the right to say that to you as you have the right to criticize a good movie. we are all human being after all, but we are living in a time that people started to criticize race and color, and for what? just because you are white and he is black or red. or just i am an Arab so i am a cheap race and you are American so you are a high race, what a stupid idea! many stupid ideas should be vanished by now but you guys still pending it like idiots from a mad house. people here are sick minded
As a Muslim, i find this movie hilarious. It should be labeled as comedy/horror. not to mention how the hell that this guy uses holy water to get rid of the Jinn? and the holy water was given by a Muslim? Funny, there is no holy water in our religion. We're not Christian.The Arabic writings in his car, i think it says "bla bla bla..alb alb alb.." it's not even a holy scripture. And at the beginning of the movie where he fought the Jinn, he uses Hindu's language instead of reciting verses from holy Quran? Or maybe at first it was a verse from the Quran, but repeatedly and it's not even right.Boring movie, fake, twisted. Not really what we called "Jinn". Study more history about Jinn before you mix ours with other religion beliefs.
