Good concept, poorly executed.
Good films always raise compelling questions, whether the format is fiction or documentary fact.
This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

A great version of the story about ol' "Bah Humbug" himself, Ebenezer Scrooge. I'm sure most everyone has seen a version on film or has read A Christmas Carol so won't rehash the entire story - but to those few who might not have seen or read the story: It's a good story filled with crabby Scrooge, a poor family and 3 ghosts that haunt Scrooge.Disney's version of this tale is good. It's hard not to love Mickey Mouse and his gang. This film has become a classic and a standard film for the holidays. So if you haven't seen this version of the story then give it a try... it's got a couple of giggles but mainly Disney keeps the story as heartwarming and the original tale.10/10
I first watched this little film when I was about 5 or 6 while I was looking through VHS tapes at my grandparents' house. Then suddenly I found a tape that had this movie recorded on it. So I of course watched it. And to honest I loved it when I saw it back then, and I still do. I have always (since I heard about it) loved the classic and even somewhat heartbreaking story about Ebenezer Scrooge. I love this version, I love the Muppets' version, I love the original written story, it is just overall great. As with the majority of Disney animated features, the animation is nothing short of fantastic. Disney have always been ahead of it's time with the fantastic animation they have brought us. I just love this version of the story and I hope everybody will appreciate it as much as I do for years to come.
This is a very nice adaptation from Disney of the classic "A Christmas Carol." It stars Mickey, Donald and Daisy as some of the main Carol characters, playing Bob Cratchit, Nephew Fred and Belle. Ebenezer Scrooge is voiced by Mister Ed actor Alan Young, and Scrooge will take on a more significant future role as "Scrooge McDuck" in the cartoon show, Ducktales.This classic Charles Dicken's story is portrayed very well in this cartoon, very touching and moving about gruff Ebenezer trying to mend his ways after being visited by the Christmas ghosts of the Past, Present and Future. The spirit of Christmas and goodwill is thoroughly emphasized in this movie and you could definitely see a special Disney touch to this feature.I'm sure the kids and the entire family will enjoy watching this cartoon short during Christmas time.Grade A
1983 was the release of this Disney cartoon movie. I remember this movie thru The Wonderful World of Disney. A lot of re-release a lot of CD! My favorite Christmas characters are Mickey and the Chipmunks! I watched a lot of Mickey's Christmas series but this one's a movie! I remember a series that Mickey and Donald did a riot around a Christmas tree! Until the whole gang have a riot (Mickey, Donald, Goofy and Pluto!). Christmas is fun specially if you watch a Christmas movie like this one. Disney is the best movie of Christmas! All Disney Christmas movies are special! It is a merriness of Christmas. Merry merry Christmas Mickey!
