Good movie but grossly overrated

The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.

There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes

It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.

At one point in everyone's life, they are able to show some sort of soft spot for films like these. I adore this film and the film was able to draw out certain emotions from me, which is rare in drama romantic. This is a prime example of a film that defines the genre it belongs to.Eduardo Verástegui and Tammy Blanchard demonstrated amazing chemistry as they both look and play roles that clearly show in paper that they are meant to be together. Both actors deliver their lines so naturally that certain moments can allow us to really relate to conversations and events in our own lives.Bella is one of the greatest of it's genre and it contains such likable leads and played by actors that are able to drive the film forward. Monteverde has written an accessible and relatable script and crafted a brilliant film that enhances the themes that drives his script. I've seen this film about two years ago but I still remember the feeling. This is a film that I would recommend to everyone due to it's universal themes.

The story is an engaging one, and while romance is definitely implied the ending is a beautiful surprise. There is a reason why the film is entitled "Bella", even though the actress playing Bella does not have her name listed! The story includes a car accident involving a death. There is quite an array of serious themes: family loyalty, abortion, adoption, workplace issues, employer unfairness, redemption, forgiveness, and more. Each theme is dealt with gently, avoiding too strong a push or insulting those with different opinions. It is the excellent presentation of these themes, along with the fine acting from the entire cast that makes Bella believable, caring, and engaging. The film also has great impact and invites the viewer to consider his/her position on many issues.

This movie is amazing! One of my all time favourites! It is a truly heart- warming film with lovable characters that the audience can relate to. There are moments of humour and of sadness and the soundtrack supplements each scene perfectly. Nina, an unmarried waitress, finds out that she is pregnant and the father never enters into the picture (both literally and figuratively). She has no idea what to do with a baby and weighs her options. Jose, the chef at the restaurant, runs after her when she is fired and becomes her support system, her shoulder to cry on. Jose has his own secrets which he slowly reveals to Nina, and the audience, as the film progresses. It is a movie for any audience and one that I would recommend to anyone.
