One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.

Think Like A Man Too 4/10- Everyone knows Kevin Hart has really burst into the spot-light over the past year. His brand of humor appeals to many crowds which is why so many like his comedy, including myself. Since Think Like A Man got me nearly on the floor laughing last year, I had high expectations for the sequel. Sadly my expectations were not met, and I left the theater still wanting something more. Although Think Like A Man Too utilizes all of Kevin Hart's comedic talents, the film is still not saved from a under-developed plot and dragged- on scenes. Also, I don't know how else to say this, but in a lot of the scenes, it is painfully obvious that the other members of the cast are not as funny as Kevin Hart. Although this sequel has a knew twist to it, the movie still follows the "battle of the sexes" story much like the first one which starts to get old after a while. The original used this well, the new one, not so much. Instead of producing comedy from all of the dramatic scenes, what follows most of the dramatic scenes is really just more drama which a couple jokes thrown in. The storyline goes off-track so much about the personal lives of the characters and it takes away from the attention from the main plot: the bachelor party. I honestly thought a Kevin Hart movie that revolves around a bachelor party would be drop dead hilarious, but they barely even talk about the bachelor party. This is probably the main problem I have with the movie, but I am not saying it wasn't entertaining. As I said earlier, they used Kevin Hart in this movie as much as they could and this move may have saved the film. Kevin Hart is probably the main reason why I had a little bit of fun watching the Think Like A Man sequel. I am not saying the other actors did not contribute to the movie, I thought that Romany Malco, Regina Hall, and Gabrielle Union increased the level of their performances from the first film. The only time I thought they used Las Vegas to their advantage was in the gambling scenes which are in my opinion the funniest scenes. If they used more of the Las Vegas-Bachelor party concept to their advantage, I have no doubt that it would have been funnier than the original. I am not saying that this movie is not funny because it is still a decent comedy. I recommend though you see this film only if you are a die-hard Kevin Hart fan, otherwise I would wait till it comes out on DVD.For more of my reviews, go to my website at reviewsbywest.com

Within the first few minutes I knew this movie was going to suck, I just didn't think it would suck this bad. I had a sick feeling in my stomach through out the entire movie. I actually felt embarrassed for the actors. This movie was NOT funny at all. The jokes were so lame, the movie was flat, there was NO chemistry, everything was forced. I was just annoyed, like other reviewers have said Kevin Hart has way too much screen time. His jokes were corny, uninteresting. Really, why. So predictable. I wanted to fast forward so many times. The pacing of the movie was terrible. I have never rolled my eyes so much. Really sad This was was terrible.

Think Like A Man TooIf thinking like men gets women to stop acting like men than that's a plus.Thankfully, there are no flatulent females in this comedy.Attending their friends wedding in Vegas, Cedric (Kevin Hart) and his boys (Michael Ealy, Jerry Ferrara, Gary Owen, Romany Malco) split from their significant others (Meagan Good, Taraji P. Henson, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Gabrielle Union) to have the bachelor party. But even though both parties are apart from each other they're still haunted by their relationship woes, i.e. intimacy, infidelity and career.Meanwhile Cedric's extravagant boys' night out lands him in debt, which he hopes to nullify through gambling. The slapdash sequel to the mildly amusing original, Think Too doesn't develop the returning characters beyond their previous appearance, save for Hart who has become a caricature. It also doesn't offer up any relevant relationship advice.Besides, 1 in 5 Las Vegas marriages ends in personal bankruptcy. This movie of course wasn't like the first. I mean how many movies are better than the first one? Other than The Godfather II? Hardly any. Yet it had its hilarious moments and it's cute moments. Kevin Hart was still funny, although I feel that little by little he is losing his touch. When he first came out, he had everybody laughing so hard their stomachs hurt, but now it's alright. Jenifer Lewis and Taraji P. Henson were the only people who I felt were the best actors. Oh and we can't forget Dennis Haysbert. These characters were the ones who I would say, did the most acting. The plot was a little different than the last. Only thing was that there was a wedding and they had to try to celebrate with each other before it was wedding time. I still liked the movie either way, I walked out with a smile on my face and OK with having spent the money to see it. I would recommend watching it. If you're one of those The Fault in Our Stars girls or.. Guys? I would recommend watching this movie afterwards so that you could have a good laugh and replace the sad tears with happy ones.
