It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.

This is a dark and sometimes deeply uncomfortable drama

This movie was cute, but I felt like it could've been a little shorter. Other than that, it is like one of my dreams! Wouldn't it just be great to find a random prince, get married, and become rich? Lol. Good movie but I don't know how I'd feel about watching the sequels or any of that.

I don't think this has any spoilers, but I'll check that box just to be safe. Okay. It's a cute movie. I like it, it's definitely a great feel good movie for teenage girls/ young women. But being a Wisconsinite (born and raised) I really don't enjoy how they portray not only my state, but the people in my state. First off, we do not wear that much plaid and/or flannel and yes there is a difference. Second, I have never heard of an actual lawn mower race happening, and I'm about to graduate from a school where a few of the hicks actually drive their tractors to school at the end of the year. It's half because they like their tractors and half because it makes the whole school smell like manure. We do have tractor pulls where there's one concession stand run by our FFA members and no charming lines of hay bales. Also, that farm in the movie is just really bad. Actual farms (especially those barns) are not that clean, and I know this movie is ten years old, but that farm isn't struggling because it's family owned and run, it's struggling because they haven't invested in new, efficient equipment that ends up paying for itself. And I don't live on a farm, so I guess I could be wrong about all this, but my dad did grow up on a farm and my house is surrounded by them, so I'm probably right. Also, a farmer would never let anyone that inexperienced try to calm/direct their cows. That's a major injury and possible lawsuit on their hands. Also, her two brothers seem so... idiotic. I don't know if that was on purpose, and if it was then I don't know if it was because they're farm boys, but it really bothers me. My dad and his 13 siblings grew up on their farm, and now as adults all of them are successful and at least two of them are millionaires, just like one of my favorite neighbors, who's actually a farmer worth millions of dollars, all from working his family owned and run farm. That's about all I can think of, otherwise it's pretty cute. Just, please take everything with a grain of salt!

I usually enjoy girly movies, but this one was just bad all along. What annoyed me during the whole thing was, that Danish people don't actually have British accents, if you want to cast a Brit, then make him a price of England. Even the Danish spoken in the movie didn't sound Danish at all to me. Amerika's ignorance on that matter astonishes me.Apart from that, the plot itself is very predictable from the beginning to the end, there isn't even one twist. There have been literally hundreds of the same story before. And the story moves slower than a snail stuck in a traffic jam.I wouldn't recommend watching it if you're over 10 years old.
