High school graduation just wouldn’t be complete without an un-chaperoned, uninhibited and unforgettable final holiday. At least that’s what Will, Jay, Simon and Neil think when they book a two-week stay on an exotic Greek island. As their dreams of sun-drenched days and booze-filled nights are left hopelessly unfulfilled, the lads fight their way into the party scene with hilariously humiliating results in this smash hit UK raunchy comedy.

It is an exhilarating, distressing, funny and profound film, with one of the more memorable film scores in years,

This is a prime example of why I love British comedy. Great writing, great storytelling. Then cast the proper blokes and you've got yourself a winner. I watched the show on Netflix and couldn't believe how funny these guys were. The Inbetweeners Movie is very good. It is great to see them in a more open environment, free to spread their wings and bungle things up like they always do. The epic search to get laid is always present, as usual. The guys are all unique and have their own story. Each as funny as the next. The follow-up to the movie is The Inbetweeners Two. Hilarious stuff. But that's for another review. If you have never checked out the Inbetweeners and you have an opportunity, check out the show first. It'll go by pretty quick. Then hit the movies. It will give you a much better appreciation for the guys and their individual quirks and their collective ideas.

It was possibly the most anticipated film of the year, the TV show had ended and it had been announced that the Inbetweeners would be returning, in a feature length film! The 4 lads had finished school and were now free to do what they please with their time, what else is there to do, other than a lads holiday to Malia! It sounds like it has all the promise to be fantastic doesn't it? It really should have been one of the films of the year, it had all the ingredients, but unfortunately it just felt flat. It's hard to write a review on The Inbetweeners Movie without drawing comparisons to the TV show. This is because the TV show was absolutely faultless (well, the majority of it anyway!). I will list the problems I had with the movie:1) It felt too Hollywood. Too many times in the movie where they went too unrealistic, the great thing about The Inbetweeners was that it was so relatable, it was realistic and above all else, it was original. The movie seems to have too many cliché moments and over the top, slapstick humour, which is not what The Inbetweeners is all about. 2) Too much focus on the girls. The 4 lads spent most of the series chasing girls and managing to fail 99% of the time. In the movie they attract girls within the first night! That's not within keeping of the series! The girls like the lads and the lads keep on messing situations up, surely it should have been the other way round and the lads just be the ones harassing the girls? 3) Not as much crude humour, it felt like a watered down version of the TV show. As I said before the humour felt more slapstick, the crude one-liners and offensive jokes felt kept to a minimum which was a real shame. 4) Felt to Clichéd. The falling out between the lads half way through. The fact Carly keeps popping up throughout the film. The alpha Male club rep. It's all been done far too often in Hollywood comedies and to be honest, it's getting a little tiring now.Don't get me wrong, The Inbetweeners Movie is an enjoyable watch, I have seen it several times and it still amuses me. It's just if you make a direct comparison to the TV show (which is near impossible not to) it just doesn't live up to its reputation. The Chemistry is still there between the 4 lads and the loyalty and friendship is still nice to see.7/10

I enjoyed a few of the episodes from the series, but this film was horrendously bad. The best bit was the opening few minutes with Greg Davies, but then he wasn't in it again until the closing credits. I think I laughed twice. Oh, IMDb won't let me post this unless there are 10 lines of text "Your review does not contain enough lines - the minimum length for reviews is 10 lines of text" - that's funnier that the film! Your review does not contain enough lines - the minimum length for reviews is 10 lines of text... Your review does not contain enough lines - the minimum length for reviews is 10 lines of text... There.

I am British and enjoyed the Inbetweeners TV series when it was first on and then they made a movie..... But seriously this was terrible i usually let people have there own personal opinions like one of my best friends hates Scott Pilgrim VS The World and i love it, but I do let him have his own personal opinion. But sometimes I have to draw the line. The only proper JOKES in this movie are by one of my favourite comedians Greg Davies and he isn't even in it for more than 5 minutes. The most annoying thing is that all of my friends in 2012 thought it was the greatest movie ever made! I didn't say anything but it was pretty obvious that they wouldn't recognise a good comedy if it came up behind them and shouted ya mums d*** is bigger than mine, no seriously they think that the Inbetweeners are funnier than Monty Python. 2/10
