Unearthed (2008)
In the desert area of Hat Creek, cows are found partially devoured and the farmers believe that a wolf is attacking the cattle. The alcoholic Sheriff Annie Flynn is called by the local farmer Rob Horn to witness the remains of an animal to request reimbursement from the government and for an accident with a tank truck that is blocking the road.

Re: The "review" by inkslug"Unearthed" is not better than other reviewers would have you believe. It's worse. It's a piece of offal and that's all the comment it deserves. FYI, Ray Harryhausen is an acknowledged genius and his special effects for the original "Jason And The Argonauts" are some of the most brilliant in the history of film. Your epically stupid, staggeringly wrong statement regarding them is a frightening insight into your profound and heartbreaking lack of taste. Stick to things like "Unearthed" and don't bother with genuinely great films like "Jason And The Argonauts". It's clearly pearls before swine and you only embarrass yourself. I know I'm embarrassed for you.
I thought that the first half of the movie was well pretty good, it held my interest very well,, but then something odd happened,the story drifted away and lost me,, i became bored and couldn't actually wait for the movie to end.. yeah i know i shouldn't say that but well it's me and i gotta be honest,, this movie just didnd't cut it for me,, the monster come on,, not even close to original. looks like something out of AVP , i don't know the characters seemed lame , even Annie the drunked little hottie of a sheriff , this movie, the way the characters are presernts it 's like you don't even wanna root for them or care about them for that matter,, the writing i thought was very weak,, and overall this one was not very scary at all,, in fact a total disappointment if you ask me.
I wanted to watch this, I really did. I like fearnetHD and even if some of the movies suck, I love the fact it exists at all so I give most of the movies they feature at least a chance.Horror movie...check. High def....check. Drunken half naked sheriff chick...check. I still turned it off 20 minutes in. The plot was nonsensical: The road into town blocked. OK....but the premise of the road being blocked is Charlie Murphy driving into town and going around the wreck that blocks the road. So if the wreck blocks the road...how did he get around it and why can't anyone else?Monster: SciFi channel at best. I remember when the SciFi channel made Farscape. They now make garbage movies. This movie reminds me of the later....onlyy worse.I wanted to like this...it was so bad I didn't bother.
Officially in the top 3 worst movies I've ever seen. The lightning, or lack thereof, is astoundingly horrible, 80% of the time you will be trying to figure out what's going on. The plot is inane and you never really care about anyone or anything that's happening, character development is non-existent, and the monster is boring. For me, the bad CGI is forgivable, but everything else in this train wreck is not.Worst of all , this movie is about as scary as Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. There are no good scares and nothing memorable. Although, there is one hilarious scene worth mentioning; an explosion that blows a character back and she does a full flip in mid-air.Painful to sit through, the best part was the end.
