This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.

A black op has gone terribly wrong. Now, Captain Carmen Ibanez and a hardcore trooper famed as Major Henry "Hero" Varro must lead a team of battle-weary troopers to find the missing ship and discover what went wrong. Starship Troopers: Invasion is no better than Starship Troopers 3 plus the whole animation/video game kind of film doesn't work for me either sorry. Plus that scene where one of the soldiers offers the girl to wash her back cause she was naked was beyond stupid especially when she approached him and left. (0/10)

Every sequel to the Starship Troopers movie I have watched, but none has come near the quality and excitement of the brilliantly creative original directed by Paul Verhoeven. This film was one big let down and disappointment. Other than the amazing fantastic original, the only one worth watching was the third. This film is all CGI animation, so it's like watching one tedious long scene from of a really bad and boring video game. And CGI in this one for the actors looks cheap and horrible. Horrible, I say! CGI cannot come close to doing the job and performance of what a live person can. I wish they would quit putting out low budget loser sequels in this film series, and put some effort into a real quality film for fans. Jerry Bruckheimer can do it. Paul Greengrass can do it. Paul Anderson can do it. Apparently the director/filmmakers making the sequels to this franchise for Starship Troopers cannot. What a big let down and shame.

When I was younger I was always a big fan of starship troopers and ever since then it has had a place in my heart even though as I got older I realize it is a B movie. Then I saw the second one and was horribly disappointed so I didn't even bother with the third one. I had not even heard of this CGI version until last night so I decided to give it a try. Im so glad I did. This movie blows the third and second out of the water and it may even be better then the first one. Personally I just liked the epicness of the first one if they had done this one like that it would have been better. The CGI is good and so is the story line and action sequences the only downside about this is the acting, Some of the characters are sub-par at best.If you are a big fan of first starship troopers well I highly suggest you give this one a watch. It is probably the best one to be made so far and they just make more like this.

So this is for an adult audience, but the same was true for the original Starship Troopers. And while this never reaches that height, it is a really good and entertaining entry into the series. There's some nudity and a lot of blood. If you are a sensible viewer you might want to stay away from this (don't be fooled by the fact it's an animated movie, if you don't know Japanese Anime).I also like the fact, that viewers of the original movie might see some winks concerning characters and other things. Nice additions then and working nicely with the story too. There's not that much story, but it still should be able to give you your moneys worth (just know what to expect)
