Cop Out (2010)
Detectives Jimmy and Paul, despite nine years as partners, can still sometimes seem like polar opposites—especially when Paul's unpredictable antics get them suspended without pay. Already strapped for cash and trying to pay for his daughter's wedding, Jimmy decides to sell a rare baseball card that's worth tens of thousands. Unfortunately, when the collector's shop is robbed and the card vanishes with the crook, Paul and Jimmy end up going rogue, tracking down the card and the drug ring behind its theft, all on their own time and without any backup—except for each other.

Very best movie i ever watch
This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.
Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable
It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.
The stories Smith tells about the making of this movie and his falling out with Willis are a 1000 times funnier and more entertaining than this flick will ever be. It tries to mimic these 80's cop buddy movies and they even got Harold Faltermeyer to do the music but it just doesn't work. There is no chemistry between Willis & Morgan, the jokes are bland, the action is pretty standard and sidekicks like Sean William Scott can't save it from being a total waste of screen space. The plot is riddled with clichés and is as predictable as hell so it's surprising it was on 'The Blacklist' of best unproduced scripts. It had better stayed that way...
I don't know what the hell is wrong with you haters, you don't expect a serious comedy movie when Tracy Morgan is in it's hilarious,i laughed my head off. You all just keep saying what fans blah blah blah bunch of f**king movie nerds,saying the plots are stupid the acting is bad,well, tracy morgan is in it, if there are good acting, the movie will be underrated any way , so is that really important? it's a comedy movie ppl,wake the f**k up. want a goofy time? best freaking choice.it just doesn't make sense while the transformers have higher scores,when their plots are much much slower,the acting is much more worse, and they got 6.3.but in this COMEDY MOVIE,which do NOT have to be serious about,some stupid wieners come out and say OH THE ACTING/SOUNDTRACK/PLOTS, why don't you boring f**ks just GTFO,and let the ppl have some laughs
Just a truly terrible and awful buddy cop movie, well lets be honest just a bad movie period. Has there ever been a less convincing actor(and I use the term "actor" loosely) then Tracy Morgan? He's good on 30 Rock because he's not acting and just playing an exaggerated version of his real personality. But he's completely incapable of playing a role that's not himself.I can't believe that Bruce Willis wasted his time by signing on to star in this movie.I collected baseball cards as a kid and still have a bunch of them but by no means do I want them to play a major role in any plot line for a movie involving cops tracking down a bunch of bad guys.I think that with this movie and Jersey Girl that I've pretty much given up on all hope for Kevin Smith ever turning into a good seasoned filmmaker.
a film lacking any intelligence, humour, or entertainment. i have seen many films, and this is one of the worst - no exaggeration. morgan has ONE slightly amusing line towards the beginning, and then resolutely fails to entertain for the remainder of the running time. i suppose he does the best he can with a terrible, immature and ridiculous script. willis looks distinctly unimpressed with the proceedings, and doesn't even try to put in a compelling performance. i rarely write reviews, but i felt the need in this case because Cop Out is so very, very, very bad that people need to know.young kids might enjoy it, but some of the content might not be appropriate in the eyes of their parents... so who will enjoy this film? answer: IDIOTS
