That's a good horror movie! Naked women, sex, violence what else?! All we ask in a horrific movie is to be scared, and disturbed in our comfort zone. There's no doubt that David Cronenberg knows how to do it. Great references to George Romero in The crazies and Night of the living dead! There's a lot to tell about this movie like the curse of infidelity. But let's just say it's a good movie to make out with a crush... Or not.

The story is an interesting blend of horror and kinkiness. There are some decent gore and creature effects, but due to the low budget are few and far between. There's also a bit of gratuitous nudity, all courtesy of Lynn Lowry (who reminds me of the Gelflings from 'The Dark Crystal'). The hot lesbian scene is also worth mentioning (grrrr). While the pacing is slow, there's enough of a threatening undercurrent to keep things suspenseful. All-in-all, not a bad start for the man who would later bring us 'The Fly' (1985).

It could be a milestone through David's movies! I rented this DVD and got back to my apartment, turning the lights off.For some time, I fell asleep and lost my sensibility. As I woke up sweating, I caught the glimpse of an unknown liquid coming out of the toilet, it made my heart up and down for a while, then I watched the rest of movie on my own over and over again. Overall,the aspects were fine, the plots were good, the actors were not so bad, but the music and background were a little bit scary and thrilling. The Fly was his second must-see film. It tells of the tragedies of science. The ending was thought-provoking, you know, it reminded me of something bad, maybe i would add more comments about it.

Shivers. now called They Came from Within (1975) Very odd title change! Anyway, This was re-watch, I had not seen this movie for really long time, I did enjoyed it a lot back then.I thought it had Very strange story but a good plot apartment building are being infected by a strain of parasites that turn them into mindless, sex-crazed fiends out to infect others by the slightest sexual contact.and there weer good moment in this movie, This dose feel a bit out dated now and could done a bit more with the attack scenes in this movie. I didn't mind looked really really, some decent effect and some odd effect in the movie, which made me laugh,The acting was okay in this movie in this movie, I did enjoy how the movie endedIt's was not as good as I remember it! 5 out of 10
