This film is so real. It treats its characters with so much care and sensitivity.

The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

A novelist blinded in a car crash which killed his wife rediscovers his passion for both life and writing when he embarks on an affair with the neglected wife of an indicted businessman. Despite the pretty good perfomances as a whole 'Blind' doesn't reach it's fully capable potentials on creating a nicely done romantic and dramatic story and instead it goes on making mistakes that the genre is known for such as cheesy lines and over the top drama that doesn't work at all. Very disappointed cause i thought that this movie had some good potentials. (5/10)

First, Alec Baldwin can no longer be taken seriously because of his politics. His choice has been to malign (not satirize) his president. Second, Dermott Mulroney or Mullet McDermott or whoever he is phones in his performance as a one dimensional douche. The guy who plays Gavin is forgettable, as is Do-me More, a willing acolyte for Hollyweird society.Plot: Douche Bag gets caught breaking the law. Douche Bag's wife has to perform commie service to atone for being married to said Douche: shoe-horned into reading for Scum Bag blind guy, after forgettable Petty Thief gets tossed by Scum Bag. Everyone is all part of the same problem, that is, they are all unlikeable as "people".Eventual betrayal, murder and escape. But, we don't get what we really want: to see them destroy themselves and the film stock go up in flames.Set your DVR to ERASE.

the music at the end of film during the credits is excellent all in French and it says Robert Redford play an instrument, great, Miss Moore looked great, use t0o see her often in Hailey. in the film several great lines are used as the main actor is a writer, and he improves after his reader Miss Moore begins to read several books to the writer. one of his students plays a great part.

For the first half I thought this was going to be an intelligent and creative story (something that hasn't been told a thousand times already), but then it just became pedestrian predictable from that point on. A quadrangle love affair with cheating, getting caught, changing your mind and the obvious changing tit again. Making it all worse was a predictable, maudlin, everyone ends up with their new lover happily ever after ending. As far as acting Baldwin did a respectable job with his, at times overacted, blind character while Moore was "just there". Really positive reviews to some extent are fandom followers of Baldwin & Moore together with a slight inclination toward seeing Moore act.
