Slow pace in the most part of the movie.

When a movie has you begging for it to end not even half way through it's pure crap. We've all seen this movie and this characters millions of times, nothing new in it. Don't waste your time.

This story has more twists and turns than a second-rate soap opera.

Like the great film, it's made with a great deal of visible affection both in front of and behind the camera.

Teaserama (1955) ** (out of 4)The infamous Irvin Klaw produced and directed this burlesque show, which shows off a variety of dancers with the highlights being Bette Page and Tempest Storm. Page also hosts the ladies as she will walk out on a stage with the upcoming performer's name on a card.TEASERAMA is going to mainly appeal to fans of burlesque who like to see this type of dancing. I'm not going to lie but this type of thing was never one of my favorites, although I will say that there's some appeal here as this is presented like an actual show so we get the girls dancing and in between their acts we get some comic routines. The comic routines are downright horrible and you have to wonder why any show would even bother with them. They're among the worst bits of comedy that you'll ever see and I doubt too many people were happy to see them. As far as the girls go, they're certainly very attractive and if you enjoy this type of dancing they will be worth your while.Of course, the main attraction here is Page and while she was a horrible dancer there's no question that she contained a certain magic that just made it impossible to take your eyes off of her. She's very flirtatious with the camera and this certain leaps off the screen and right at the viewer.

Made up of nothing more than a variety of acts featuring a nifty assortment of attractive dancers and a few painfully unfunny comedian making lots of terrible cornball jokes, this Irving Klaw production nicely captures the infectious let's put on a show enthusiasm of burlesque. The legendary Bettie Page might not be much of a dancer, but she flirts well with the camera, handles her hostess chores with perky aplomb, and looks quite sweet and yummy throughout. Tempest Storm's enormous breasts and hourglass figure are enough to turn any red-blooded all-American male's knees to jello. Cute redhead Chris LaChris does a peppy number, voluptuous Cherrie Knight performs a sultry routine, the duo of Peppe and Roccio impress with their lively flamenco moves, and limber blonde Twinnie Walden practically steals the whole show thanks to her astonishing flexibility (her cartwheels are especially something to behold!). Ironically, female impersonator Vicki Lynn is the only performer to go completely topless. Dave Starr and Joe E. Ross are also along for the ride telling excruciatingly bad jokes, but fortunately the bevy of beautiful women on display more than compensates for their lame antics. Entertaining stuff.

As a Bettie Page fan i enjoyed this nostalgic burlesque movie featuring; tempest storm with her natural 40+ bust, and Bettie page(pin-up queen of the 1950"s)now on icon, sure there's no plot but this is a burlesque show featuring comedy acts like funny Dave starr(car 54)and sexy strippers like tempest storm and Lilli st cyr.Bettie also introduces each act wearing sexy costumes and holding cards with names on them.she also performs, her dancing however is'nt good but its Bettie page she looks good dancing badly.if your a Bettie page fan this is a must see.the something weird video has all the extras.Bettie also did;varietease in 1954,and striporama in 1953.this is the best showcase for Bettie page,in the credits shes listed as Betty page, its filmed in beautiful color.I'm giving this 10 out of 10,maybe because i love Bettie page.

Well, at least Teaserama has Betty Page and the spectacularly-chested Tempest Storm to lure the viewer into a false sense of security. Once you get past these two, however, the film degenerates into dull gyrations from a variety of forgettable women, as well as painfully unfunny comedy routines. I assume they're supposed to be comedy; they could be just random words, it's hard to tell.If you're a fan of Betty Page, Tempest Storm, or just kitschy camp silly costumed burlesque then you might as well watch it. If you want something erotic, or exciting, then don't watch it..
