Raw and unflinching examination of the courageous life of basketball star and social justice activist Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf. His decision not to stand for the national anthem, however, turned him from prodigy to pariah. There are better movies of two hours length. I loved the actress'performance.
Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.
