Such a frustrating disappointment

a film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.

Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.

Sub-par as a sex flick, sub-par as a psycho-thriller, this Misty Mundae vehicle may please fans but it's not going to create many fans. The story follows two sisters who want another troublesome girl out of the way, but who find themselves stumbling into the lair of a lesbian even more psycho than they are. She forces them to compete in some little games at gun point if they ever want to get out alive.Misty and Chelsea Mundae demonstrate their C-list eroticism and D-list acting skills. Robert Rowell's directorial style consists primarily of jamming a camera as close to his subject as possible, even outdoors. The music is a relentlessly repetitive pounding that doesn't distinguish between a girl masturbating in a shower and someone being murdered.The story piles on the twists until the early scenes make no sense. The sex scenes are uninspired, unerotic, and sometimes impossible, altho Misty saves a few by being delicious in a short skirt. Julian Wells does all right as the psycho lesbian, but the role doesn't ask much of her and Misty ruins most of her intense scenes by being annoying and sarcastic.I've certainly seen worse, but if this is one of the best Misty Mundae films, I'm not going to hurry to find another.

I saw the nymphet Misty Mundae for the first time in the best episode of the patchy Masters of Horror series; Lucky McKee's "Sick Girl", and have been hoping to catch one of her soft porn flicks for a while since. Sin Sisters, therefore, is my first Misty Mundae porno, and while it's difficult to be over-impressed with a film as lacking as this one, Sin Sisters succeeds both as a porn flick and (almost) as a thriller, so I can't be too hard on it. It's obvious that the behinds the scenes crew at Seduction Cinema aren't exactly cinema geniuses, as numerous sequences in this film go on far too long; and despite the fact that the three female leads spend most of the film without much on; the overall result isn't very erotic, and this is only slightly better than what your average Joe with a video camera could do...but I suppose it would be silly to expect anything else. The plot focuses on two sisters; Cynthia and Morgana (played by real life sisters Misty and Chelsea Mundae), who accidentally murder someone at their college and end up packing the body into the boot of their car. However, while on the way to dump it; they come across a playful Julian Wells...'Cheap and nasty' is a phrase I would use to describe Sin Sisters' cinematography as it's extremely bland and looks like it cost the studio but a few pennies. Director Tony Marsiglia relies heavily on his lead star and doesn't seem to care too much about the rest of the film. It's not hard to see why Misty Mundae is so popular either, as despite not being your average porn star and looking about fourteen; there's something captivating about her, and the paradox between her innocent looks and filthy actions gives her a style of her own. Chelsea Mundae, unfortunately, hasn't quite got her sister's charm; but the film is given an extra dimension courtesy of the experienced Julian Wells, who is chalk to Mundae's cheese. The scenes between the three leads aren't as good as they could be, and sequences that see the younger girls recite every possible name for various body parts is an unwelcome intrusion. The music used helps to enforce the cheap porno atmosphere, and while this movie would have benefited from better production values, a competent director and more variety; if you're after some soft porn, this may well do the trick...

*SPOILER ALERT* *SPOILER ALERT*I bought this DVD. Misty Mundae is not one of my favorite softcore stars but I was intrigued by the possibilities a movie called "Sin Sisters" had to offer. Her real life sister Chelsea Mundae plays her sister in the movie. Visions of two sisters being sinful in bed together did weird and disturbing things to my brain. "Sin Sisters" just might be nasty enough for me. So I bought it.Oohhhh. My brain hurts. These sisters were not sinful enough. Let's cut right to the chase. They do not have sex. They do not kiss. They don't do anything sexual with each other. Well, they watch each other play around but that's it. Mostly they scream and yell at each other. Misty is the dominant one and screams the F-word at her sister numerous times. Wow. Exciting. Misty Mundae is still the whitest woman I have ever seen. The movie starts out with her and her sister by the pool sunning themselves. Misty pours suntan lotion on herself and her skin is actually whiter than the lotion! She does absolutely nothing for me. She is a flat chested ghost of a woman. Her sister is even worse. "Chunky" would be an accurate description of her. "Voluptuous" would be another word I could use if I was feeling nice but I'm not. So Chunky and Misty hit the road to a psycho woman's house. The second half of the movie has the two sisters playing mind games with the blond wacko. I was not thrilled. Or aroused.This movie needs to be completely remade. There could be a really nasty flick here. The hook is that they are real life sisters! Why wasn't that exploited? Why couldn't the sisters have gone on a cross country killing spree? Yeah! They could attack some couples and kidnap the girls back to their motel room. After a little three-way action, the sisters could take a sinful shower together to wash away all that blood and sweat. Am I the only one who is doing any thinking around here? Am I the only one who cares about quality exploitation movies? Come on people! Let the sisters be as sinful as they want to be!"Sin Sisters" rating: 2/10. My fantasy version of it: 10/10.

WOW. was I ever surprised with this film. OK, I admit, i am a huge fan of Alternative Cinema, and all of their different branches (Seduction Cinema, Retro-Seduction Cinema, After Hours Cinema, Shock-O-Rama, Video Outlaw, W.A.V.E., etc...), but this was by far the best Seduction Cinema film I've ever seen. Most of their films are just raunchy borderline XXX lesbian pornos that parody mega-budget blockbusters, but not this one. If you can get past the first two ultra explicit um..."finger" scenes, this turns into a pretty twisted, ultra darkly sensual movie. Definately the best role I have seen Julian Wells play. Also, Chelsea Mundae actually upstages her real life sister Misty in the acting category. Granted, you don't want your Grandmother to get ahold of these movies...("whatcha got there, sonny-boy?"), but for what it is, its a great flick.
