A respectful nod to classic kids-in-peril adventure films that finds a group of reluctant kids stranded overnight in an abandoned jail. Their chaperon is missing, their cellphone service is non existent, and their patience with each other is running thin. Oh, and a big, hairy creature is trying to eat them. Hey... it's tough being a kid in a monster movie.

It was OK. I don't see why everyone loves it so much. It wasn't very smart or deep or well-directed.

In Marion Co. Mississippi, money is being raised by high school students spending the night at the abandoned jailhouse rumored to be haunted by a jail ghost. While they are there, they are attacked by the Big Bad on the DVD cover. The film has a light sound track during what would be the horror parts. The humor comes from misdirection which got to be too expected to be overly funny, but nonetheless still entertaining. Worth watching for fans of humorous or 80's horror films. Ainsley Bailey played a difficult spoiled cheerleader who stole every scene she was in with her character being the best developed.Guide: No swearing, sex, or nudity.Note to self: Don't take selfies with Bigfoot.

Some high school kids have to spend the night in a cell, in an old prison to raise money for the school. During their stay, they get a visit from a menacing creature that wants them dead. Three students and a teacher must find a way to survive. This is kind of a hokey horror comedy that is geared towards the preteens for sure. It did have a Goosebumps feel. The acting was good but it had a cheesy premise and a lot of lame lines. It had a decent budget with a crisp picture.Little kids might still be scared and the big kids might want to just avoid this one altogether.

I went into this film without knowing much about it apart from the poster, and i loved it,numb nuts teenagers fighting against a rubbish creature, it doesn't feel low budget, the camera work is excellent but that's not the point, a crap werewolf is hunting idiots and loses, and then it turns into a Bigfoot and still loses, don't expect Werewolf in London here but if you have a sense of humour you'll like this. The Sheriff in particular is a barrel of one liners, the teenagers are played brilliantly by teenagers, who you wouldn't trust to paint a fence but have no problem out foxing a werewolf/Bigfoot, i loved it, quite clever, loads of funny dialogue, doesn't try to be anything it's not, highly recommended.

Oh, c'mon guys, you've see much worse than this. I've seen countless movies on here that pale in comparison. To each his own, I suppose."Big Bad" was a bit of a mess. It had several missteps, a few unexplained scenes, and in general was hit-'n-miss. Still I kind of enjoyed it--the reason being the director/writer/and producer did have a nice little twist in here that I did not see coming. The plot is pretty basic: As a fundraiser, a high school has students agree to stay overnight in a supposedly haunted jail. That is as far as I'll go on the plot.I also give praise to ANY movie whose plot revolves around teenagers, and then they actually CAST teenagers for the roles--not some 30 year-old's trying to POSE as teenagers. Also, it is nice to see yet another horror movie that does not rely on the gore factor to sell itself.I am not saying this is a great movie, because, well, it isn't. But, like I said in my opening remarks: "Guys, you've seen way worse." Rated "R" for violence and language. I liked it; you guys will have to decide for yourself.
