Tim and Eric created a movie true to their style. I was skeptical and frankly a bit scared that Tim and Eric could have the ability to create something as awful as the negative reviews proclaim, I should have known that mainstream opinion should not trusted, however I was more shocked to read negative reviews from Tim and Eric hardcore fans, I simply cannot believe that fans of Tim and Eric did not like this movie, the movie has the exact same chemistry as the episodes, the same style of humour, a lot of the jokes are direct imports from the episodes, so a lot of "inside jokes" that only a fan would understand. The acting was fantastic, the jokes were high caliber, I felt the jokes were very sophisticated, a lot of thinking went into it, I absolutely adored this movie especially because I'm a Tim and Eric fan.My theory why some fans were afraid to love this movie is because they were too embarrassed by others, I wouldn't want to watch this with a non Tim and Eric fan for example, they would ruin my fun for sure, I think too many people are too self-conscious about loving this movie and being judged by others, the sad part is that Tim and Eric themselves seemed self-conscious about the movie in their Q&A session, popular opinion can be so devastating to the ego.

Say whatever you want about Tim and Eric Awesome Show Great Job and Tim and Eric's Billion Dollar Movie but love them or hate them their comedy is unique and will stick with you. They definitely seem to be a polarizing act! Some people love them, some people hate them, to each their own. Lovers and haters just need to accept each other. If you love this show, accept that other people may not share our sense of humor. If you hate this show, then don't watch it, and accept that we find this kind of comedy funny. Why is that so hard for some people to accept? In the end most fans seem to like the movie while people who don't like their TV show will never like the movie.

*I realize I gave this film 10/10, but I am not crazy so please hear me out.* B$M is hard to explain. Tim and Eric themselves are hard to explain. The Tim and Eric persona is disgusting, obnoxious and awkward. Anything Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim get their hands on will confuse the sane and make the sober cringe. Tim Heidecker has a reputation for being outwardly rude and they both take pride in audience walk-outs. This all sounds very bad, but it's really, really funny.I will be completely honest in saying that I absolutely did not get Tim and Eric's sense of humor when I first saw Awesome Show in high school. I did not hate them, but I was just so confused. The more I watched, however, the more I laughed. I found myself actually waiting for it to come on, as opposed to it just being on when I went to bed at night. Whether I was watching Awesome Show or Tom Goes to the Mayor, I grew to genuinely "get" their sense of humor. At some point, without really realizing it, I became a huge Tim and Eric fan. They have a very particular style of comedy that a lot of people simply will not understand, not to any fault of their own, I must add. The best way I can describe it is sort of like an inside joke. It is not funny because it makes a socioeconomic or cultural statement. It is funny because some guy has a poop tube that squirts his poop from a tube attached to his head. That is it. It would not make a good creative writing thesis, but it is funny and it is exactly what I have come to expect from Tim and Eric- Poop tubes. I expect poop tubes when I watch Tim and Eric. I am putting as much emphasis on this fact as I possibly can because it leads to my base opinion. Tim and Eric's Billion Dollar Movie was exactly what I expected from a Tim and Eric Movie. Why? Because of course, Shrim mean poop bath. Of course, Ray Wise has a bunch of soft-meat-eating kids who poop on people to cleanse them. Spoilers. And, of course, John C. Reilly plays a sick boy named Taquito who was raised by wolves in the mall. That all makes perfect sense and it was exactly what I expected because I was watching a Tim and Eric film. Call me a blind fan, but B$M was the exact amount of cringe I expected from a full length Tim and Eric movie. As a fan, I do not get offended when people say Tim and Eric are not funny. I understand that everyone's tastes are different, and it honestly makes their jokes funnier to me when other people react negatively. Apart from first time viewers, I also understand a lot of Tim and Eric fans not enjoying this film because of various plot-line and casting issues, and perhaps many fans found it too low-brow to meet their standards but I will once again state that it was exactly what I expected. People walked out on this film for the exact same reason it became one of my all-time favorites, because it is disgusting, obnoxious and awkward. This movie came out over a year ago, but I recently showed it to a boyfriend, and he simply hated it. I understand not "getting" it, but hating it? The fact that someone would even put enough thought into this movie to hate it only makes me want to watch it more. I do not make a habit of reviewing films because I feel like doing so puts me in an undeserved and uncomfortable position of authority over other viewers. I do not like to say negative things about any film because depth and taste are subjective, and who am I to tell someone what they should or should not watch? However, after an unsuccessful attempt to share something I enjoy, with another person, is met with hate, I suddenly felt the need to stress the fact that this movie was exactly what I expected.

this movie was just Awful, I wasted my time watching it, I use to watch Tom goes to the Mayor. and I could stand that. After watching this.. I want my time back. I'm glad it was free on netflix at the time of this review.I won't suggest anyone to watch this trainwreck, there was too many scenes that didn't make sense. And not even funny. They tried way to hard to be funny. And they just weren't. They were done with Acting before this movie even came out.I pray there isn't gonna be another junk film by these 2.How they got other actors? Is beyond me. I'd like to know myself. this actually ruined me watching anything else from them. Ever. And I watch so much crap on netflix.. Yet this has to be one of the worst movies i've seen.. Even most b Movies are funnier than this pile of garbage.
