Love as a Predatory Affair (2016)

LO KAI-FONG meets her best friend, the Snake Woman KO KWAI-FUN, at The Eden. KAI-FONG persuades KWAI-FUN that she should not eat the forbidden fruit but KAI-FONG eats the fruit accidentally. However, the apple turns into a bitter melon. KAI-FONG wakes up from the nightmare. She immediately wakes up her younger sister LO KAI-KEI, her younger brother LO KAI-LUN, her father LO SUT and her mother LO TAU CHING-LOK. She then goes to the kitchen to prepare breakfast for them. LO SUT works at Tau Ling Food Supply and he tries to collect the payment at the grocery. The grocery owner refuses to pay and he wants to return the goods. KAI-FONG helps her father to solve the problem. After getting the payment, KAI-FONG goes to the fish store to look for KO FUN. KO FUN is going to join a speed dating event so that she could find a tall, rich and handsome boyfriend……

PAK-YIP is planning to make a special summer drink but he doesn't have any vegetables and fruits. He tries to borrow the ingredients from his uncle LAU LEI-KO who is the boss of Too Tasty Fast Food Group. However, LEI-KO refuses to help. LO SUT worries that he will be unemployed. CHING-LOK is happy that she has changed the rooftop into two sub-divided units for lease but the two tenants have moved out. KAI-FONG and KO FUN tidy up the sub-divided units together. HUNG SIN wants to rent a place and he arrives. KO FUN believes that he is a nasty man and she defeats him. PAK-YIP's executive chef TAU TSAU and the other chefs have designed four different kinds of special summer drinks but PAK-YIP is not satisfied with them. He is worried and he plans to reject the TV interview by saying that their freezer is out of order. KAI-FONG prepares 12 special dishes with bitter melons and this helps PAK-YIP to restore his reputation……

KAI-FONG believes that HUNG SIN is a nasty man. CHING-LOK explains that the female tenant is a prostitute and HUNG SIN has helped them to solve the problem. KO FUN tells KAI-FONG that PAK-YIP has become the most attractive man in town after being interviewed in the TV programme. She wants KAI-FONG to introduce him to her. YIP-YUEN asks KAI-FONG to help getting the payment from Brother TSAT of Tsat Hoi King Abalone. HUNG SIN washes dishes at Tsat Hoi King Abalone. He tries to taste the source of the abalone in the secret kitchen and the chef misconceives that he is trying to eat the abalone. Luckily, KAI-FONG arrives to speak for him. KAI-FONG is overjoyed that PAK-YIP has invited her to dinner but PAK-YIP only wants her to help writing the recipe so that his chefs can prepare the dishes accordingly. KAI-FONG always cooks spontaneously and she has no idea of the exact amount of ingredients and seasonings……

KAI-FONG discovers that HUNG SIN is very strange. HUNG SIN explains his objective for coming to Hong Kong and sneaking into different restaurants' kitchens. HUNG SIN can tell how much seasonings KAI-FONG has used just by watching her. KAI-FONG asks him to help writing the recipe. KAI-FONG delivers the recipe to PAK-YIP. When she leaves, she is bullied by a strong man and YEUNG KAM-CHI appears to speak for her. This is the first working day for KAM-CHI at Best Taste Fast Food. Coincidentally, the company has introduced some new dishes on this day. There is an ad-hoc order for tens of lunchboxes. Everybody is very busy and the kitchen becomes chaotic. The customer complains about it and PAK-YIP tries to question the staff. LAW SZE shifts the responsibility to KAM-CHI. KAM-CHI is not afraid and she tries to speak the truth. YIP-YUEN asks LO SUT to bring him home for dinner since he wants to meet his goddess KAI-KEI……

HUNG SIN fails to cook the dishes like KAI-FONG and he is very upset. LAU TSAP tries to check out the fast food shop. He finds the table untidy and he tries to tidy up the place but he hurts his lower back. On the other hand, LEI-KO also hurts his waist by bumping into the dining car. The two brothers meet each other at the clinic and they fight with each other. The Food and Environmental Hygiene Department receives a complaint that there are cockroaches at the fast food shop and PAK-YIP is very nervous. KAM-CHI discovers the cockroach and she tries to catch it with her hand quietly. PAK-YIP calls for a staff meeting. Everybody says that the place is messy because there is no shop manager. PAK-YIP thinks that KAM-CHI is an upright person and he decides to promote her to shop manager. In order to go to work conveniently, KAM-CHI rents CHING-LOK's subdivided unit……

KAI-LUN is the cameraman of a food programme and HUNG SIN also works at the TV station for he wants to learn cooking. They are dissatisfied to discover that SELINA is asking her assistant to cook on behalf of her. KWAI-FUN misses PAK-YIP and she fails to concentrate at work. Auntie LIN worries that she will offend the customer and she asks her to take a rest at home. HUNG SIN's subordinate reports to him that his father has recovered and he wants him to return to Taiwan to run the business but HUNG SIN insists that he will stay in Hong Kong. LEI-KO and SELINA celebrate in a restaurant after defeating PAK-YIP. PAK-YIP has dated KAI-FONG for dinner in the same restaurant since he wants KAI-FONG to introduce some new ingredients and write the recipes to him. LEI-KO and SELINA try to humiliate KAI-FONG but PAK-YIP speaks for her. KAI-FONG tries to prepare a new dish at the kitchen but she feels that the kitchen is too small……

SELINA visits LEI-KO for she wants to be the spokesperson of Too Tasty Fast Food Restaurant. KAI-LUN has edited the video so that it seems that KWAI-FUN instead of KAI-FONG is making the cooking demonstration. The cooking video of KWAI-FUN is uploaded to the Internet and it becomes very popular. KAI-LUN names the video "Goddess Kitchen" and he calls KWAI-FUN "HESTIA". People make comparison between SELINA and HESTIA. Everybody thinks that HESTIA is more attractive and professional. PAK-YIP discusses about the "Goddess Kitchen" video with KAM-CHI. In order to help KAI-LUN, KAM-CHI says that the video is very great. KAI-LUN receives a message from BEN telling him that Too Tasty Fast Food Restaurant wants to collaborate with him. KAI-LUN invites KWAI-FUN and KAI-FONG to attend the meeting together. KAI-FONG rejects him for she wants to concentrate on designing the new dishes for PAK-YIP. KAI-FONG is upset for she has no new ideas at all……

KWAI-FUN reveals that LEI-KO has invited her to be their spokesperson. KAI-FONG worries that LEI-KO will discover that KWAI-FUN doesn't know how to cook. On the other hand, if she helps LEI-KO to make the cooking video, it means that she is working against Best Taste Fast Food, the major client of Tau Ling Food Supply. KAI-FONG is caught in a dilemma. LEI-KO invites KWAI-FUN for dinner and he tries to show off in front of PAK-YIP. KWAI-FUN worries that LEI-KO has other intentions and she gets off from his car halfway. It suddenly rains. PAK-YIP's car passes by and he gives her a ride. KWAI-FUN is attracted by his graceful bearing. KWAI-FUN receives phone calls from both LEI-KO and PAK-YIP at the same time. She decides to reject LEI-KO and collaborate with PAK-YIP. KAI-LUN thinks that they should collaborate with LEI-KO. However, he changes his mind after learning that KAM-CHI is not satisfied with the idea……

SELINA tells LEI-KO that PAK-YIP has invited HESTIA to be their spokesperson and they have announced it in a press conference already. LEI-KO is enraged and he decides to continue his collaboration with SELINA. After the press conference, PAK-YIP takes the initiative to send KWAI-FUN home and KWAI-FUN pretends that she is living at Deep Water Bay. After arriving at Deep Water Bay, KWAI-FUN discovers that the paparazzi are still following her. She has no choice but to rent a unit at the service apartment. YUE-KAU learns that Best Taste Fast Food has ordered one month of products from them. He worries that LO SUT and YIP-YUEN will offend the big client and he asks KAI-FONG to follow up the order. SELINA asks paparazzi to follow KWAI-FUN and she sends the information to LEI-KO. They collaborate with each other to attack HESTIA. After discovering the paparazzi, KAI-FONG seeks help from KAI-LUN……

KWAI-FUN looks at the ingredients on the table and she doesn't know what to do. LAU TSAP invites KWAI-FUN home for he wants to test if she can cook. Besides, he also wants to find a girlfriend for PAK-YIP. KWAI-FUN asks KAI-FONG to help her by allowing her to enter the house from the back door. After preparing the dishes, KWAI-FUN asks her to go immediately and KAI-FONG feels that she is being used. KAI-FONG returns home to discover that everybody is eating Taiwanese fried chicken and KAI-FONG thinks that it is not difficult to make it. WANG-BUN persuades CHING-LOK to open a fried chicken shop. He believes that they will make a profit of over one million dollars within a year and CHING-LOK is moved. PAK-YIP sends KWAI-FUN home and KWAI-FUN invites him to drink coffee at her place. KWAI-FUN worries that PAK-YIP will see her application form for the renewal of fish store license. She falls into PAK-YIP's arms and kisses him accidentally……

KAI-FONG discovers that HUNG SIN is drunk because of his goddess. HUNG SIN suddenly wakes up and he discovers that KAI-FONG admires PAK-YIP secretly. LAU TSAP is happy to discover from the news that PAK-YIP has started a fight with others because of KWAI-FUN and he supports their relationship. WANG-BUN reports to CHING-LOK that he expects Drumstick Lord to sell around 30 thousand drumsticks in every quarter after its opening. LO SUT asks YIP-YUEN to handle the order of drumsticks. LAU TSAP invites KWAI-FUN to join the TV cooking programme and KWAI-FUN finds it hard to reject him. KAI-FONG persuades KWAI-FUN to reject the job and reveal to PAK-YIP that she doesn't know how to cook. WANG-BUN worries that the manpower at Drumstick Lord is not enough and KAI-KEI takes the initiative to help him. LEI-KO invites ALBERT and SELINA to meet up. ALBERT reveals that LAU TSAP has sponsored 2 million dollars to HESTIA for the cooking programme……

KAI-KEI tries to promote the drumsticks at the shop in sexy clothes. WANG-BUN discovers that a male customer tries to get close to KAI-KEI and he starts a quarrel with the man. WANG-BUN and HUNG SIN return to the shop to discover that the drumsticks were not stored in the refrigerator on the previous day. HUNG SIN worries that the drumsticks have deteriorated and he urges WANG-BUN to throw them away. However, WANG-BUN refuses to do so and he tries to sell the drumsticks after adding some seasonings. KAI-LUN and KAM-CHI go to buy drumsticks at Drumstick Lord. After eating the drumsticks, KAM-CHI is not feeling well. She keeps vomiting after returning home and she is sent to the hospital. WANG-BUN is informed by the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department that some people complaint that they suffered from food poisoning after eating the drumsticks. CHING-LOK believes that KAM-CHI has made the complaint……

WANG-BUN arrives to apologize to CHING-LOK. He is being fired already and he promises to return his debts gradually. The TV station organizes a charity contest. SELINA chooses to cook A5 Wagyu beef and KWAI-FUN chooses to cook eel. KWAI-FUN adds seasonings to the eel according to KAI-FONG's instructions and she then steams the eel. The working staff remove the decoration box that KAI-FONG is hiding inside. At the backstage, KAI-FONG overhears AUGUSTINO and Brother TSAT's conversation. They say that SELINA wants them to select her as the winner. KAI-FONG cannot bear to argue with them. After the contest, KWAI-FUN wants to have further development with PAK-YIP and she tries to kiss him. However, PAK-YIP is embarrassed and he suddenly discusses about the drumsticks issue with KWAI-FUN. KAI-FONG resorts to alcohol and she finishes the whole bottle of sorghum liquor……

YUE-KAU asks KAI-FONG to find another customer to buy the 30 thousand drumsticks or he will not give her salary and KAI-FONG doesn't know what to do. KAI-FONG invites KWAI-FUN to have lunch together so that she could deliver the drumstick recipe to her. KWAI-FUN tries to test if KAI-FONG knows PAK-YIP well and KAI-FONG is upset. When KAM-CHI arrives to pay her rent, she reveals to CHING-LOK that the air-conditioner is out of order. CHING-LOK refuses to repair it and KAI-LUN asks YIP-YUEN to repair the air-conditioner secretly. KAM-CHI decides to move out but KAI-LUN tries to criticize all the other places that KAM-CHI is interested. KAM-CHI accidentally discovers that KAI-LUN is keeping her video in his computer and she scolds him for taking the video secretly. KWAI-FUN visits PAK-YIP at his office and she discovers KAI-FONG there. She tries to find out why KAI-FONG is visiting PAK-YIP……

There is a loud noise in KAI-LUN's room. KAI-FONG tries to check it out. She discovers that KAI-LUN has fallen down and he suffers from a sprained neck. KAM-CHI misses KAI-LUN and she receives a video from him. KAI-LUN tries to explain to her why he has taken a video of her secretly. KAI-LUN refuses to give tuition to LAU YUEN. WANG-BUN finds the tuition fees attractive and he takes the job. KAI-LUN takes video for the Goddess Kitchen again. However, KWAI-FUN tries to keep a distance from KAI-FONG and she suggests to get involved in the cooking process. Since she doesn't know how to cook, the video shooting process is not smooth. WANG-BUN learns that CHOI-FA is LEI-KO's ex-wife. He also learns that CHOI-FA has taken LAU YUEN's educational fees to pay for the daily expenses since the alimony is not enough. HUNG SIN receives a call from his father HUNG TAI-TAM……

LAU TSAP and Auntie LIN are old friends. PAK-YIP and KWAI-FUN go to the hotel to look for his father. KWAI-FUN discovers Auntie LIN there but she tries not to recognize Auntie LIN. KWAI-FUN returns home to scold Auntie LIN and requests her to stop seeing LAU TSAP. KAI-FONG cannot bear it and she starts an argument with KWAI-FUN. WANG-BUN overhears their conversation and he discovers the truth. The debt collector urges CHOI-FA to repay her debts and CHOI-FA is scared. WANG-BUN teaches her that she can ask the debt collector to get money from LEI-KO. WANG-BUN accompanies LAU YUEN to play video game at LEI-KO's office. He learns that SELINA is paying somebody to investigate HESTIA. LEI-KO discovers WANG-BUN and he tries to beat him. WANG-BUN is frightened and he reveals the secret of HESTIA to him. WANG-BUN tries to hack into KAI-LUN's computer when he goes to the toilet and he copies the video footage of Goddess Kitchen……

PAK-YIP shows KWAI-FUN the video footage. KWAI-FUN believes that KAI-FONG has sent the email and she negotiate the matter with KAI-FONG. KWAI-FONG slaps KAI-FONG on her face and leaves angrily. PAK-YIP doesn't know what to do. KAI-FONG reveals to him that she did not sent the email. KWAI-FUN scolds KAI-FONG for arguing speciously and she blames her for trying to ruin her relationship with PAK-YIP since she is loving PAK-YIP secretly. HUNG SIN goes to cook at LO's family deliberately and he urges KAI-FONG to carry on. KWAI-FUN meets Auntie LIN at LAU TSAP's home again and she wants to break off the relationship with Auntie LIN. Auntie LIN is heartbroken. PAK-YIP finds it unbearable that KWAI-FUN is hiding her relationship with Auntie LIN in front of him. He decides to explain the matter to everybody in a press conference and he will stop seeing KWAI-FUN as well. PAK-YIP reveals everything to LAU TSAP. LAU TSAP is very shocked……

KWAI-FUN reveals to HUNG SIN tearfully that PAK-YIP wants a separation and she vomits afterwards. HUNG SIN goes to the toilet to wash himself and LEI-KO arrives to bring KWAI-FUN away. LEI-KO uses sweet words to seduce KWAI-FUN. He claims that KWAI-FUN will continue to be famous and rich by being the spokesperson of Too Tasty Fast Food Restaurant. He then arranges a press conference to announce that HESTIA will be their spokesperson. HUNG SIN arrives at the venue to shout to KWAI-FUN that LEI-KO is a bad guy and he ask her to careful. KWAI-FUN no longer regards KAI-FONG as her good friend but KAI-FONG still reminds her to be careful with LEI-KO. KWAI-FUN doesn't believe in her and she kicks her away. KWAI-FUN resorts to drink at home. LEI-KO arrives and reveals that nobody could harm her anymore. KWAI-FUN is touched and she sleeps with him. HUNG SIN visits KWAI-FUN in the morning and he discovers LEI-KO's car leaving from her place……

LEI-KO brings KWAI-FUN to the studio to shoot a new video called the "Goddess New Kitchen". After the release of the new video, the business of Best Taste Fast Food has dropped significantly. In order to compete with them, PAK-YIP asks KAI-FONG to design new dishes. HUNG SIN visits KAI-FONG for help. KAI-FONG discovers that HUNG SIN's father HUNG TAI-TAM has arrived. TAI-TAM finds KAI-FONG an honest lady and he likes her very much. LAU TSAP visits KAI-FONG and he meets TAI-TAM, his long-lost friend 30 years ago. LEI-KO sends KWAI-FUN home. HUNG SIN discovers it and he asks KWAI-FUN to leave LEI-KO. KWAI-FUN replies to HUNG SIN that they are not compatible. HUNG SIN is very down. He doesn't know what to do except to concentrate on making noodles. KAI-FONG tastes the noodles and she thinks that HUNG SIN has created the long-lost taste eventually……

After learning that HUNG SIN has got 72 shops in Taiwan at a net worth of 4 billion dollars, CHING-LOK reminds HUNG SIN that he should not forget KAI-FONG. KAM-CHI visits LO's family on behalf of Best Taste Fast Food and he asks KAI-LUN to shoot a promotional video together. WANG-BUN and CHOI-FA act intimately in the shopping mall and KAI-KEI witnesses it accidentally. KAI-KEI reveals to KAI-FONG tearfully that WANG-BUN is dating another woman. LAU TSAP praises KAI-LUN's promotional video for it is very touching. Best Taste Fast Food introduces some nostalgia cuisine to the customers. The objective behind is to find the long-lost taste. LEI-KO has asked someone to take pictures of CHOI-FA when she was beating LAU YUEN. He shows CHOI-FA the photos and asks her to leave LAU YUEN since he wants to send him to England for further studies……

LEI-KO complains that KWAI-FUN was not careful enough when she visited the doctor and the paparazzi have discovered it. As a result, they will not be able to produce Goddess New Kitchen anymore. LAU YUEN is forced to leave CHOI-FA and KWAI-FUN finds LEI-KO very coldhearted. When KAI-FONG is making the marinade alone, WANG-BUN arrives to explain why he has dated another woman. He tries to pour some liquid to the marinade when KAI-FONG is not aware of it. After introduction of salt-baked chicken at the restaurant, the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department has received complaint. After investigating the sample, Staphylococcus aureus is found. Many customers suffer from diarrhea and all the shops are closed. LEI-KO and KWAI-FUN go to the restaurant to celebrate their victory and he asks WANG-BUN to collect his reward at the restaurant. KWAI-FUN takes video of LEI-KO and WANG-BUN's conversation……
