Between big show and big pain: The docu-series "BASTARDS." follows the German-Iranian duo "Pretty Bastards" on their way through the German wrestling scene in two seasons. In addition to sporting challenges, the focus is on the personal stories of "Maggot" and "Prince Ahura" away from the ring. Money shortages, serious injuries or the Corona crisis - not only their careers, but also the friendship of the two young athletes from Frankfurt is always on the line. Despite tough competition, the charismatic "bastard sons of wrestling" do not go it alone. So the series also tells the story of the young athlete "Baby Allison," a friend, who is one of the rising stars in German women's wrestling, fighting for titles and, above all, acceptance in an industry dominated by men.

Maggot and Prince Ahura, the Pretty Bastards are back. In company. Wrestler Baby Allison and longtime Pretty Bastards coach Aaron Insane join the Frankfurt wrestlers. The four are connected by more than what happens in the wrestling ring. The Pretty Bastards celebrate the biggest success of their career so far.

Aaron Insane, mentor of the Pretty Bastards and Baby Allison, usually the rougher type, lets his guard down and gives some insight into the person behind the role. Baby Allison is making her way internationally and Pretty Bastards are on the biggest wrestling Europe.
It's not all fun in wrestling. The wrestling scene, badly battered by the Corona pandemic, is rocked by scandal. The careers of the protagonists are at a standstill. But the fighting spirit is still there.
The Pretty Bastards are no more. Maggot and Prince Ahura have separated and now go different ways. Prince Ahura can celebrate a great success directly. A new connection is formed, not only in the ring. The course for the future is set.
