A man gets a new job in the idyllic surroundings of Jordnära, a gated community that runs a successful organic farm. But he quickly realizes that their rules and routines are somewhat unorthodox.

A car is pushed off a cliff in the middle of the night with a man on fire inside. The local police start investigating and soon find out that the man is a well-known profile from Jordnära.
A guest turns up in Jordnära and presses Maud with an unusual offer. Then another dead body is found. The community does its best to cover its tracks, while a concern grows among them.
A partisan begins planning his escape from the gated community. Meanwhile, something's wrong with the water in Jordnära, and the people you thought were your friends are now suddenly turning their backs on you.
Maud is tormented by her past and she can no longer escape the truth. It's time for her to face her demons. At the same time, a suicide is reported in Jordnära. Once again, the police visit the community.
