Entertaining from beginning to end, it maintains the spirit of the franchise while establishing it's own seal with a fun cast

The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one

...an empty crater. Immature and underwritten. Insulting to one's intelligence. Played like an over-budgeted episode of the Power Rangers. Soulless direction. One would probably be right in assuming that those who green-lighted this pile of ash have never in their lives sat through a film by Kurasowa -- whose name I hesitate in writing in the company of this dreck --; they should immediately be sat down in a corner so they can have a good, long think about what they've just done. A foul cloud has been unleashed over the Filipino cinemascape. Which is now irreparably tainted. Pithy, unconvincing performances all round. But in all fairness, the actors didn't really have much to work with... what with the cardboard cut-outs they had for characters. So, on that defense, I guess they all can be exonerated.Biggest budgeted Filipino film indeed...Awful, truly awful...
