It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.

It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.

Nada Skrinjar is my mother's first cousin and it was in researching my family roots that I discovered her IMDb page. I found this film online and watched it several times. It reminds me of "The Red Violin" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120802/ in that it centers around an instrument and its effect on different people who owned and played it. I do not understand Croatian, but the drama transcended language and I was touched by its tragic love story.
