finally a halo production that is actually exciting to watch. now this is something every halo fan can enjoy. unfortunately it foreshadows of some alien that will be in the halo 5 game. as it turns out the halo 5 game did not have any of the aliens depicted in this movie so it was not good for me for that reason. if you want to checkout the latest and greatest halo streams check out www.streamhalo.com

**NO MAJOR SPOILERS** .HALO NIGHTFALL .Directed by Sergio Mimica-Gezzan .Technically it's a TV series, but the 5 episodes in total are 93 minutes....and that's basically the length of a movie. .I wasn't too much a fan of the last Halo film, Forward unto Dawn....when Master Chief got there...it was awesome, but up til' that last 20 minutes....ehh. But I am a Halo fan. I own and have beaten all the games, except ODST...wasn't a fan. Halo Reach is definitely my favorite. Anyways i've been looking forward to a new Halo film so i was very excited to check out Nightfall. So Nightfall is about a group of ONI troopers led by Locke, going to this ancient abandoned world to solve the mystery of a terrorist attack. Things go wrong, the team gets marooned and they have to survive from the native species.....so, Halo Nightfall was disappointing. It wasn't bad, it had a lot of potential. It was going good for the first 20 minutes, but once they landed on Sedra......though that world looked amazing....it had problems. The characters were predictable, with your rookie girl who ends up being more than people thought of her. Your character who is an asshole just for the sake of having an antagonist within the group. Two people who were mortal enemies but end up sacrificing themself to save the other. It was just nothing new. Then, the whole reason they were there in the first place, to investigate this terrorists attack, yeah they never get around to doing so....so the entire beginning and attack on Earth isn't answered. It is only season 1 so maybe they'll answer that later on. My main problem with this movie, is the villain. When I think of a Halo movie, I want a film that's at least SOMETHING like the game. y'know some good ol' Spartan vs Covenant action. I just wanna see someone go up against the Covenant, the Elites, the Grunts, the Brutes, give me that please. When I found out they're enemy wasn't the Covenant but.....WORMS....I was upset. They're trying to survive from swarms of obvious CGI worms attracted to electricity. The ending, I called 20 minutes in. I didn't care for the characters, and the enemy was just....WORMS. I did enjoy aspects and visually it was cool. There was one really tense scene but overall it was a letdown..Halo Nightfall gets a: C- .Follow me on Instagram @KillFillm for more Movie Reviews!

Halo Nightfall is pretty good, I enjoyed watching it and think it's a good background story of agent Locke who we are going to be seeing in the next halo game. Although its storyline is not the most intense I've seen in a sci fi series, it at least has a storyline that one can follow and a storyline of which does not suck at least. I also like the fact that the story explains what happened to the alpha halo from "Halo Combat Evolved" and shows the true powers of the "Lekgolo", which the hunter infantry units of the halo games are made of. When comparing Nightfall to Halo Forward Unto Dawn I think that both are good added story elements to the halo storyline, although I like the the plot of Nightfall more, being that it's one of a team of soldiers carrying out a dangerous mission in a hostile and mysterious environment. Of coarse it does not take long for the situation to become almost hopeless for the characters and some start to turn on one another, although I think this shows what some people might do in certain desperate situations. All and all I think Nightfall is pretty good and I cannot wait to see how or if its story will tie into that of Halo 5 Gaurdians.

With Halo mini series try Microshoft to get into the series scene, and I believe it works. Every one who play Halo (by the way, most wanted game, get named in other very popular series like the Big Bang Theory) will love to watch how a game could look and feel on TV. I wouldn't compare this mini series with other Sci-Fi series, who have the double runtime. Specially on this mini series; I get a bit disappointed, every time when a very catching scene started, the series ends. 😓 The intro is quite long and the end with music don't make it better. What I like was the look and feel, I like the characters and who it was cutting. Basically the story is between human and aliens, human have to play goods, because there is no other chance to survive.
