Tells a fascinating and unsettling true story, and does so well, without pretending to have all the answers.

A good Summerslam event, as nothing was really wrong with it, but could of been a bit better with the matches, the duration of them & their pace.FIRST MATCH- ORLANDO JORDAN {CHAMPION} VS. CHRIS BENOIT FOR THE WWE UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP This has got to be the fastest title change in Summerslam & WWE history. Benoit makes Orlando tap out to the Sharpshooter in about 25 seconds to become the new United States Champion. 3/10SECOND MATCH- EDGE W/ LITA VS. MATT HARDY This more of a brawl, not a wrestling match, but what a good brawl it was. Edge beats Matt Hardy bad until he bleeds, as the referee stops the match, which results Edge as the winner. 5/10THIRD MATCH- REY MYSTERIO VS. EDDIE GUERRERO IN A LADDER MATCH FOR CUSTODY OF DOMINICK Pretty cool ladder match, although I really didn't see the ending, but from what I saw, it was an acceptable ladder match from these two great athletes, especially Mysterio, but never count Eddie Guerrero out. Eddie's wife distracts him, knocking him off the ladder, as Mysterio climbs up the ladder & retrieves custody papers to gain the right to keep his son Dominick. 5/10FOURTH MATCH- KURT ANGLE VS. EUGENE W/ CHRISTY HEMME IN A NO TIME LIMIT CHALLENGE FOR KURT ANGLE'S GOLD MEDALS A pretty solid & one sided match, but it was alright. Angle always rules, but Eugene is just bad. Angle makes Eugene tap out to the ankle lock to get his gold medals back from Eugene. 5/10FIFTH MATCH- RANDY ORTON VS. UNDERTAKER Very good match, pretty much the same like their Wrestlemania encounter, but it was great, both these two men have got great chemistry in the ring together. An unknown hooded figure interferes, giving Orton enough time to nail an RKO on Undertaker for the three count. After the match, it turns out the hooded figure is Cowboy Bob Orton, Randy Orton's dad. 5/10SIXTH MATCH- JOHN CENA {CHAMPION} VS. CHRIS JERICHO FOR THE WWE CHAMPIONSHIP Another good match, as all the hype between these two men have not carried down this match. Jericho & Cena are really great athletes, & have got really good chemistry together. Cena nails the FU for the win & to retain his WWE Championship. 5/10SEVENTH MATCH- BATISTA {CHAMPION} VS. JBL IN A NO HOLDS BARRED MATCH FOR THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP Wasn't bad, but could of been given just a little bit of more time, pretty coll spots in this match. Batista nails a Powerbomb on JBL on the steel steps, for the cool victory & to retain his World Heavyweight Championship. 5/10EIGHT MATCH- SHAWN MICHAELS VS. HULK HOGAN Finally, the match everyone has dreamed & waiting to watch for one last time has come here, & what a better place besides Wrestlemania than Summerslam. To say the truth, I was expecting a lot more from this match, but Hulk Hogan is getting pretty old, so you gotta give him a break. It was alright, as Hogan was busted open really badly in this match. But he was able to fight back, & nail a Big Boot followed by a Leg Drop for the win. After the match, both Michaels & Hogan shook hands in respect, as what a great way to end Summerslam. 4/10As I said, this Summerslam has it's moments, especially the ending of the mainevent, as it was a great Summerslam which is no surprise as all Summerslams are exciting to watch. Good event, nothing really too bad, but the mainevent could of been a bit better, but overall, it was a great event.Overall I'll give it 7/10 & a C+

SPOILERSJust another average pay per view. when the wold champs are not in the main event you know that the things go wrong.next up the recap of the matches:Chris Benoit vs Orlando Jordan(c) -US Title match Benoit wins in 30 seconds with the Crippler Cross Face, yep the second WWE most important ppv have a 30 seconds squash match, anyway a Huge pop for Benoit rating 2/5, crowd reaction:5/5 Edge vs Matt Hardy -Single Match Disappointing match. This match had a lot of expectation due the return of Matt Hardy, the match begun and they just throw punchs and later edge wins via TKO. I Felt very disappointed rating 1/5Eddie Guerrero vs Rey Misterio -Ladder Match Very good match, finally a very good match. This is undoubtedly the match of the night but the storyline is so pathetic and the ending is so bad. Rey wins with the help of Eddie's wife. rating 4.5/5Kurt Angle vs Eugene -Single Match Wow two squash in one night, Angle wins with the Angle Lock and a very impressive pop for Angle rating 2/5, crowd reaction 5/5. Randy Orton vs Undertaker -Single Match Another good match between Orton and Mr.Callaway ,Orton wins with a RKO after some distraction. After the match, the guy who distracted Taker revealed himself as Bob Orton Jr. Does anyone Care???? rating 3.5/5John Cena(c) vs Chris Jericho -wwe Championship Like every Cena's match the opponent take the offensive side the 80% of the time and Cena wins with the FU, anyway the crowd was very involved in the match rating 3.5/5JBL vs Batista(c) -WHC Championship Another very short match, like the Edge-Matt Match they brawl the 100% of the time, but the ending is impressive ,Batista Connects the mighty Batista Bomb and connects another one in the ring steps, sweet!! 3.5/5Hogan vs HBK -Single match Unsurprisely HBK carries the 90% of the match in the end HBK connects the Diving Elbow and the sweet Chin Music and go for the pin butt he Hulkster kicks out and begin to hulk up and like always he is unbeatable and wins with the "devastating" leg drop, after the match another huge pop rating 4/5 crowd reaction 6/5

WWE SummerSlam had a very interesting match card that it definitely lived up to with it's best matches being the No Holds Barred match between JBL and Batista, the main event of Hogan vs Shawn Michaels and of course the fantastic ladder match between Rey Mysterio and the late but great Eddie Guerrero. This event without a doubt beat last year's event and set a new standard for SummerSlam events.History was made in the very first match as Chris Benoit beat Orlando Jordan in a mere 28 seconds! Which made it the quickest match in the history of the U.S title and also a new champion was born! Unfortunately I don't think the two competitors had caught all of the fans attention by the end of the match but you could catch most of the match in the replay anyway. 5/10 Matt Hardy vs Edge didn't quite live up to its expectations as it was cut short but an excellent high risk move was performed in which Hardy was standing on the ring outside the ropes and Edge speared him out the ring and onto the arena floor. This is what WWE is here for, to entertain us by putting their bodies on the line. Edge won by TKO and we saw quite a bloody mess on Matt Hardy's face. 7/10 But the match that stole the show was the ladder match between Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio for the custody of Dominick. This match is my favourite ladder match of all time and both competitors put their body on the line with great sacrifice. This shows both competitor's passion to entertain the crowd and will go down as a legendary match in the history of both these men's careers. It was also one of Guerrero's last matches before his sudden death last November. My favourite move was when Rey threw Eddie onto a supporting ladder which Rey used to climb up and both ladders fell down. One of the main reasons I liked that move was because it seemed to of gone wrong. I also loved it when Rey was hanging on to the briefcase in the air and Eddie powerbombed him from there. Rey practically fell 15 feet to the mat. The crowd were loving every minute of it and hooked on every movement. Dominick was in the crowd and the camera showed his face throughout the match. Dominick is a good actor in my opinion and better then most child actors. Eddie I think was always good at playing the bad guy. Rey Mysterio eventually won this titanic battle and even the wrestler's real wifes got involved in the act. I give this great bout 10/10.Kurt Angle beat Eugene to win back his Olympic gold medals in a bout which I think was of only RAW and SmackDown! standards. But was far from bad. 5/10 Randy Orton beat the Undertaker in an enjoyable match, but not as good as their match at WrestleMania 21. When Cowboy Bob Orton jumped into the ring dressed as some crazy person, I thought that for once something like that might be legitimate as the commentators soon forgot about the matter straight away. You can expect acts like that in WWE but you never know when they are going to happen. 7/10 John Cena defeated Chris Jericho to retain his WWE title in a match that hooked the fans and at one point got them really cheering as loud as they could for Cena when he was in danger of tapping out. I could see the point that WWE was making here as the fans support gave Cena strength to put Jericho in the FU. I don't think anyone was expecting Jericho to be fired the next night but sometimes WWE is predictable and sometimes they've got some new ideas coming out of their sleeves. 6/10 The next good bout was Batista vs Bradshaw for the World Hevyweight title in a match that could of lasted longer but was nevertheless entertaining enough. Not often do we get the barricade separating the fans from the wrestlers knocked down. The Batista bomb to JBL onto the steel ring steps was something we saw a couple of months earlier at Vengeance in which Batista did the same to Triple H. But it was a pleasant reminder. Batista won to retain his title in a match I'd give an 8/10.Then came the main event that was better then most matches but not as good as the ladder match and that was Hulk Hogan vs Shawn Michaels. This match saw some good action and HBK being thrown ring. But there was nothing special or anything new seen in this match. Although we did see Hulk Hogan's face in such a state that one would think that his face had been torn apart. Hogan eventually came out on top. 8/10 In all I think that this SummerSlam set a good standard for the next SummerSlams to come. 9/10

Good grief! McMahon has done it again! This PPV is in the excellence package along with earlier PPV's like One Night Stand, Judgment Day and Vengeance. This event drew 570,000 buys! In my opinion it had the Summerslam feel to it.Results from the show: Rey Mysterio defeated Eddie Guerrero in a cracker ladder match. However this storyline has ran its course and it should end right now!Chris Benoit beat Orlando Jordan in 25 seconds to win the US title.Edge beat Matt Hardy in a wild short match which featured Hardy splitting his head open.Batista defeated John 'Bradshaw' Layfield in a good match. Way better than their sh*te match at Great American Bash. JBL really suffers here as Batty powerbombs him through the steps! Kurt Angle defeated Eugene. Hey, did anyone else think that Eugene would win?! John Cena beat Chris Jericho to retain the Heavyweight Championship in a very good match! Yes, Cena was in a good match!Randy Orton pinned The Undertaker with help from his ole fella 'Cowboy' Bob Orton.Hulk Hogan pinned Shawn Michaels. OK, this wasn't going to be a Chris Benoit vs Kurt Angle technical masterpiece, but fans were eager to see this match happen because it hadn't been done before. The only disappointments were Shelton Benjamin or Christian were not used on the card, but those details aside, a solid effort! Overall Grade - A
