War & Love (2003)
The Indian army is at the Indo-Pak border to rescue the people of a Pak captured village. The troup has Lt. Col. Sarathchandran, Capt. Gopinath, Capt Vijayn and Capt Kabir in it. The Pak army captures them and the Jail superintendent Jafar Khan, treats them very badly. Sarina, his daughter feels sympathy for these people, as she has some Malayali relatives. So she decides to save them from the Jail...

Don't Believe the Hype
It's hard to see any effort in the film. There's no comedy to speak of, no real drama and, worst of all.
This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.
I was one of the unfortunate few to watch this movie in theatre.This movie would rank as Dileep's worst by a distance. From trying to fool us into showing the hills of Palakkad as the heights of Kargil , an Indian Army brigade which has only malayalees, a Pakistan General who is a malayali , his daughter (who cannot act) singing the Indian national Anthem. There are few movies which are so bad that it can be watched as a comedy. This movie reaches that level and goes even below that.It gets worse because it ties to evoke patriotic feelings but instead evokes disgust at the makers.Less said about the acting the better. Still can't believe i remember so much of such a bad movie 8 years on0/10
