The story unfolds the events happening in just four hours of a day in two cities - Kochi and Chennai. Balu (Aju Varghese) who goes to Chennai to attend an interview falls into a trap in the few minutes he goes out of the call centre office to make a phone call. He contacts his friend Kishore (Indrajith), an ad filmmaker and his friend, to help him with some money. Kishore, who is in Kochi, has an equally crucial day. His wife Surya (Mamta Mohandas) is returning to his life as the couple has been living separate for some time. Kishore sets aside his plans to reconcile with his wife to help his friend. However, he fails to gather enough money to help Balu. How money changes the life of these characters forms the rest of the story.

This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.

It's a good bad... and worth a popcorn matinée. While it's easy to lament what could have been...

This is a straight rip-off of the 2013 hit "NERAM." Just how Neram was full of energy & reality bites, it was a very good experience. Paisa Paisa, on the other hand, is just the same story with some trivial modifications & cast change.I still can't figure out why Mamata did that role of waiting in a coffee shop throughout the movie; but she's hot yes. And was the role necessary? Oh, yes! Then where will they put Nasriya? Indrajith is the protagonist & follows all his acquaintances, friends, relatives to pursue 10000 rupees for a friend in need. Now I think you know what follows. It does show the real situations on who the real friends are during such times, but we already have seen that before. If you haven't watched Neram, please watch it before you even choose to go for this. With some beautiful performances & dialogs, Thank You is a one-time afternoon flick. 5/10!BOTTOM LINE: Faintly recommended! Can be watched with a typical Indian family? YESSmoking: Mild | Violence/Gore: Mild
