Bellman and his wife Lovisa live in a loving marriage, but in extreme poverty. They struggle to keep the family together and Lovisa tries to persuade Bellman to perform in order to earn a livelihood.

Good movie but grossly overrated
The storyline feels a little thin and moth-eaten in parts but this sequel is plenty of fun.
The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.
