It’s an especially fun movie from a director and cast who are clearly having a good time allowing themselves to let loose.

A film with more than the usual spoiler issues. Talking about it in any detail feels akin to handing you a gift-wrapped present and saying, "I hope you like it -- It's a thriller about a diabolical secret experiment."

This movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.

This film "Amadeus" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0086879/ leaves one breathless from its visual beauty, its magnificent score and the choreography, indeed, of the two together. Actually it's a masterpiece. This depicts a historically inaccurate, hypothetical story of the genius musician Mozart, where one mediocre composer hates him over the extraordinary talent he got. While comparing these two movies you will find the plot of these two is identical in spite of the differences in stories. Even the prayers to the God made by the mediocre guy in both movies follows the same pattern. But I must tell you that this is an pathetic effort if it ever tries to copy the plot from Amadeus. If you haven't watched "Amadeus" yet, please watch it and I believe you will notice the similarity of the plots.

Entire "London Dreams" as it stands today could have been easily set in India, frame-by-frame. There was no-value addition in setting it in London other than increased production costs. Not to mention, the creative liberties taken on account of which caused greater damage. Performances::↔ Ajay Devgan:: Wasn't suited for the role. Fresh blood was warranted to fit into the shoes of the music rock star. ↔ Salman Khan:: Went over-the-top to come across a cool character, but didn't quite get there. ↔ Asin:: Fresh out of success of "Ghajini", she reprises the same the screen presence and slightly tweaked character. Her staunch parents were simply out of sync to the main plot.↔ Aditya Roy Kapur & Ranvijay Singh:: There was no meat in the characters, glorified side-kicks.↔ Om Puri:: Utter waste.Vipul was good in "Aankhen" and "Waqt". And definitely got better in "Namastey London". Wonder what possessed him when he made "London Dreams". He seems to have lost the plot and ended up incorporating every possible ingredient to ensure all bases are covered - struggle, friendship, love, triangular love, jealousy, redemption etc in the garb of a musical. I haven't watched "Amadeus" from which its richly copied, hence would abstain to comment on those lines. As it is rumoured, if this story was actually written with Aamir and SRK in mind, then perhaps it would have alleviated to a different level altogether. It is warranted that a musical should be accompanied with strong music. Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy who did a spectacular job in "Rock On" have done a appalling job here, sad.Henceforth "Rock On" should be unanimously selected as a benchmark for all the future musicals.

I just wondering what is the purpose of making movies like this? the profit? and to whom they are referring what intelligence must use your brain to watch something like this crap? This movie is watchable by under 3 years old children if you are adults don't try to watch it. Thats the reason i think Hollywood started to use cartoons in movies with actors like this you must forget the art of cinema , be sure that you ll have tons of pop corn to consume for time to pass till this movie ends also get many cola's hamburgers your laptop your cellphone this movie can be used easily in a restaurant but for sure not in a theater , my dog who is always next to my family when watching a movie left the building. The sure thing is that this movie is referring to people with no demands from the cinema art.The only thing that this movie can be used is for watching it when making the supermarket shopping list.I am giving 2 stars for supporting the India's cinema efforts but for nothing more or less..

I have been waiting for London Dreams since the days Rajkumar Santoshi was the director, the movie kept on delaying, and was eventually shelved. Later, Vipul Shah picked it up and the movie started rolling. Because of the name Vipul Shah (Aankhen, Namastey London, Waqt) and the wonderful cast of Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn and Asin was known, I was expecting a spectacular musical. The movie did give me a satisfying feeling, though it missed out on a few things, unfortunately. The first half is very entertaining and keeps the viewers interested, the climax is also very gripping. Just the ending spoiled it all, it feels like Vipul Shah forced the movie to end, it could have been so much better.Performance wise Salman Khan stood out once again, Salman carried the whole movie on his shoulders, he was very entertaining and very convincing. Asin looked beautiful and delivered a good performance, though her role was kind of small. Ajay Devgn was wonderful, the intensity of his character was visible in his very expressive eyes during the whole film. Everyone thinks the music of this film is very weak, I disagree because I feel the movie is good, not great though. Barso, Mann ko ati bhave, Khwab jo, are foot tapping. The Wembley song performance by Ajay could have been a different composition. The defect of the movie only lies within the last 7 minutes of the movie, which is such a pity, because I really liked the initial 2 and a half hours. You should go for this movie if you want to see gripping performances, great cinematography and emotions. Don't watch the movie if you hate movies which have very bad endings!Overall I would rate this movie 8 out of 10, because of superb Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, Asin, the direction to a certain extent, and the great locales.
