Such a frustrating disappointment
Fantastic!
Boring
Wow! What a bizarre film! Unfortunately the few funny moments there were were quite overshadowed by it's completely weird and random vibe throughout.
I saw this documentary as part of the 2014 AV Festival in Tyneside and I was looking to forward to seeing it. Sadly, this is a really flawed film despite the interesting subject matter. Hopefully, a better film can be made which addresses these issues.No-one can help that the quality of archive film used isn't great because that's all the filmmakers have got to use. However, the film had chunks of narration repeated immediately for no reason on a number of occasions. Equally, annoying was a singer who frankly cannot sing. A wasted opportunity although the question and answer the audience had afterwords with the filmmakers via Skype had some interest.
