This story has more twists and turns than a second-rate soap opera.

The story-telling is good with flashbacks. The film is both funny and heartbreaking. You smile in a scene and get a soulcrushing revelation in the next.

I am going to go buy an Audi. These cars are fantastic! Did you know that the famous singer Pink drives an Audi? Audi's four-wheel drive cars can drive up the sides of mountains, fly through the air, and even drive across the surface of a lake! Not only that, but the on-dash display can show the car's wry comments! (This car is funnier than Knight Rider's KITT!) Okay, so some guys are riding their motorcycles, trying to get to the top of the peaks at Aspen, but the bikes malfunction, and explode, and it's up to mega-rock-star-diva Pink to give them a ride to the top of the peak, where women ski with poodles off the sides of the mountain, only to para-glide to safety. In addition to music by Pink, the soundtrack features a bunch of Euro-pop sounding anthems that make me yearn for the good old days of ABBA. The mountain locations are really pretty, and are inter-cut with a cityscape (Denver?) in a hallucinogenic fashion suggesting that this whole movie may just be the fantasy of a guy stuck in traffic, who just WISHES that his motorbike would explode so Pink would rescue him with her flying car. As such, this film becomes a cautionary tale on the dehumanization of our society by urban environments and its potential redemption by the power of winter sports.

This movie was something new to me. It was the first time I was in an IMAX theatre and I wanted the film to end.Corny, stupid plot which make the "actors" loose credibility when performing and, specially, boooooooooooring.Avoid

I really adore this movie, it is one of the best imax movies I ever saw. Maybe thats the reason why I watched it five times. Unbelievable scenes from snowboarding, skiing, motocross, paragliding, together with a real great soundtrack. I'm sure I'm gonna watch and enjoy it a again!

In Leonard Maltin's movie guide, he used to call pictures like this "a non-movie." That's really what this is - moving pictures on a movie screen, but without plot, characters, or even dialog! It kind of reminds me of tapes that play in an audio video stores to demonstrate tv's and such - just nice scenery. Except those films don't show the Bogner sports logo quite so repeatedly. If there is a plot - it's seems to be about several people stuck in a traffic jam (obviously not actors) who sit in their vehicles and fantasize that they were out doing the trendy extreme sport of their choice. (Strange traffic jam... about 8 cars in a huge deserted intersection... what are they waiting for?) We are then treated to numerous 5 minute segments of skiing, snowboarding, S-U-Ving, etc. The photography is nice, Imax picture is good, locations beautiful, but it seems to get pretty tiring after about 20 minutes.I heard a couple of people complaining about the movie at the box office when I left the theatre - and one person said that it was like "a bad porno movie with skiing instead of sex". I thought that really summed it up! 30 seconds of really bad acting, followed by 10 minutes or more of action, but I guess you don't rent a porno for complex sub-plots...If all you want to see is great skiing scenes on a giant screen, and you don't mind non-acting, awful continuity, cheesy music ("live your life to the limit--do it today!") and cars which can fall from the sky, break off their wheels, and then drive away... this movie is for you!
