L'Aubade (2012)
A poetic embodiment of an unsaid goodbye during the final two minutes of a dying man. He bids farewell to his wife while his soul is riding a fast train exiting his bodily realm. This is an animated odyssey constructed with vintage medical engraving illustration taken from century-old med-school textbooks. Inspired by a recent family mourning: Our reflection, contemplation and heart-to-heart dialogs that followed soon after that.

Sick Product of a Sick System
Yo, there's no way for me to review this film without saying, take your *insert ethnicity + "ass" here* to see this film, like now. You have to see it in order to know what you're really messing with.
The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful
Actress is magnificent and exudes a hypnotic screen presence in this affecting drama.
