Elvis: The Great Performances (2002)
Searching for a real American idol? Well, look no further. I am only giving this movie a 1 for the great cast, though I can't imagine what any of them were thinking. This movie was horrible
It's a movie as timely as it is provocative and amazingly, for much of its running time, it is weirdly funny.
It is neither dumb nor smart enough to be fun, and spends way too much time with its boring human characters.
The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.
