It's funny, it's tense, it features two great performances from two actors and the director expertly creates a web of odd tension where you actually don't know what is happening for the majority of the run time.

It’s sentimental, ridiculously long and only occasionally funny

So this is Greece's first attempt in epic fantasy genre! Was about time! We have mages, warriors, fights. Effects were awesome, costumes as well, epic music, beatiful scenery, and a real nice acting! And regarding the fact that the cost production was only 10.000 euro this deserves a + rate for sure! This movie is most recommended! More than pleasant surprise!

The fact that this movie has (currently) a 6.3 star rating and has nothing but great reviews by 'viewers' is proof that the movie industry pads their rating via phony identities.I strongly suspect this sometimes happens on a larger scale for movies with large budgets. This movie has bad acting across the board, with card board dialogue, thats just a bad combination. The costumes are a little on the phony looking side, the cinematography for this kind of movie just isn't there. The fight scenes are hollow and unoriginal. The girls are all young and pretty, so it makes me think this movie was put together by some college guys who have lots of money from their parents coming in and free time on their hands.Trust me, there were no auditions held for this movie. The very best thing about this movie is that billboard U look at when you are trying to decide to watch it or not. If you see that cool poster and then click into the movie you will be scratching your head, wondering where the movie is. This movie is not actually worth doing a review on, but viewers are being set up in this case, so I felt like someone needed to give some kind of honest warning if someone decide to peruse the reviews in IMDb.

It was a very decent effort. The first Greek epic movie! Very good storyline. familiar story but with several unexpected twists. i need some more boost on acting, was a little hypotonic, and perhaps i am wrong but i find the voice of dragan a little too intellectual for the character (yeah i miss some growl there, darn Hollywood you ruin me..!) Also i miss the colors, more contrasting colors, deeper black, i don't know, it was grey, more like TV movie than for cinema. But seriously, in first play i wanted to see the movie for curiosity reasons but eventually i was truly there, focused. Remind me the classics, you know Conan, Red Sonia, etc bloody, cruel but kind of innocent, back to the basics. I will definitely see the sequel. Good job guys keep going!

Come on! I mean, most of Greek epic movie attempts were like taking a Cinecittà movie and passing it through Bollywood's worst directors and stuff. I mean, for a parody, some movies were really great. But nobody dared to make a true epic movie.Until now. This is the very first movie that is Greek and does everything right. There are some weak spots of course, but for a movie with such limited budget, I can be more than forgiving here. So, let's begin. What about the story of Indominable? Well it is written and directed by people that know what they are doing and what they are talking about. Conan and Tolkien influence is obvious and this is a good thing. It is about a slave that never bows. It has a world with its own rich lore, its own history and its own ethics. Oh yes! AT LAST! Forget about any fourth wall breaks that pt ethic stereotypes of our world into this fantasy world. Ethics there are original. Well made without mistakes. At last! A movie that isn't full of moral or sentimental bullshit. Well made.Music. Influenced by Poledouris I suppose. Well made soundtrack.Costumes. Well, for such a budget, the costumes were a huge success. Fantastic.Directed very well, using special effects in a very good way. You see, special effects can boost or ruin a movie. Here, the effects were a great boost. The photography of the movie is also stunning, showing a hidden beauty of mountains of Greece. I personally watch Kermitsis films and I can save that he did a great job on making a long film like this one. Finally, I will close this review mentioning the only weak spot. Some actors, were not doing it right. I say that in general, but be aware that at least two of them, did it wrong and it is obvious. But that's not the case. If the movie had more budget available, there would be more professional actors involved. So do I recommend it? Of course I do! This is the first serious epic movie that I have seen, it has its own world, its own ethics, it's own lore and gods, it characters with background, a comics series to back the movie's world, and Yannis Roumboulias, the creator of that world wielding an iron sword. What else would you want?
