Winnipeg Cinematheque (2007)
This piece combines segments from important non-english films in such a way that when these segments are combined together they sound like wĭn'ə-pěg' sĭn'ə-mə-těk' phonetically. One of the intents of this piece is to allow the films themselves to pay homage to the cinema that played and supported them. Slow pace in the most part of the movie.
Good concept, poorly executed.
While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.
Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.
