Rick Hansen (Grieco) is a Hollywood talent agent lookin' for love in all the wrong places - namely, the Play Pen, his local strip club. When he goes there to visit his buddy Frankie (The Diceman), the club's owner, Rick is served by a waitress named Stephanie (O'Dell). Instantly enraptured by her, he essentially stalks her until she agrees to do a screen test for him. Unfortunately for the lovesick Rick, Stephanie is in an abusive relationship with a murderous biker named Blackie (Enos III), who has a mean jealous streak. He and his violent gang, the Satan's Slaves - which includes Spider (Galligan) - have stolen some money and drugs, and their rivals, who include Ringman (Ice-T) and Slim (Sebastian Bach) want them bach. Sorry, back. As if all that wasn't enough, Stephanie also lives with, and cares for, her epileptic sister Jessica (Everhart). Does Rick Hansen know the maelstrom of trouble he's just walked into? Will things finally all come to a head at...POINT DOOM?According to Wikipedia, "Point Dume is a promontory on the coast of Malibu, California that juts out into the Pacific Ocean. The point, a long bluff, forms the northern end of Santa Monica bay." The mysterious elves that write Wikipedia entries might be more right than they realize, as Point Doom is indeed a long bluff, at an overlong 99 minutes - and we're not sure what the point actually was. Once again, we've been snookered by what we call the Lone Tiger Effect - when you want to see a movie because of its great cast, but the movie itself is not so hot. It was directed by our old buddy Art Camacho (we don't actually know him, but we feel as if we do because we've seen his name in the credits so many times), and, yes, it is a low-budget DTV movie from 2000. Our expectations should have been lower because of the latter fact. But let's break this down: Zach Galligan - as a member of the Galligang, he plays a heavy and seems to be running from his past as a Gremlin wrangler.John Enos III plays almost the same role as he did in Missionary Man (2007), as the memorably-named Jarfe.Angie Everhart, like Galligan, stretches in an unglamorous role as a woman with medical problems who mainly wears sweatpants.Sebastian Bach was a welcome and unusual presence and deserved more screen time. He must have been a "slave to the grind" of this particular production. Hmm.Ice-T had some funny and ridiculous dialogue, which of course was delivered in that inimitable Ice-Tean way.Richard Grieco is "Grieco Suave" as he plays the romantic lead - though in the "talent agent vs. biker" fight...well, we'll let you guess who wins.Jennifer O'Dell - we don't have much to say, other than that she wears some pretty outstanding outfits.Andrew "Dice" Clay steals the movie with his charisma, and is, funnily enough, the voice of reason amongst all the crazy goings-on. His thick Brooklyn accent is unmistakable. The movie suffers from bad pacing - it starts off with a bang, but it didn't know to quit while it was ahead, and some editing problems hamper things as well. Though on the bright side, there is a PM-style car flip/blow-up, and Enos rides his motorcycle in slo-mo away from the flames. Of course, there's the time-honored barfight, but this one features a White Zombie song during the brain cell-depleting stupidity. Besides some of our favorite B-Movie names in unorthodox roles, Point Doom is also noteworthy in that it features some original songs by the original artists - Motley Crue, Motorhead, and the very catchy 80's classic "White Horse" by Laid Back. But despite the cast and soundtrack, Point Doom is junky, too long, and needed a lot more pep in certain places. Much like Cape Fear, you'd have to be pretty brave to venture a trip to Point Doom. But if you've wanted to see Sebastian Bach shoot and punch people, this is the movie for you.

i saw the movie and thought it was pretty good. also having 3 sexy guys like Sebastian Bach,John Enos and Richard Grieco in 1 movie ..to me is awesome. and yeah there was no sex or nudity in the movie which to me is great..life is about more than that so sit back and enjoy the movie. i know i did. the ending wasn't what i expected either so it kept me on the edge of my seat. all the actors did a great job. so buy the movie or wait to see it on TV. i know u will find it pretty good also if u r not the sex or nudity freak. i also thought Angie Everhart would be the main lady in the movie and she wasn't, it was Jennifer O'dell, which surprised me. i tell u the movie will keep u guessing on how the outcome will me.

Starring Richard Grieco, fresh from an eyebrow waxing, Andrew Dice Clay, and Angie Everhart, POINT DOOM seemed like a winner. Anyone who hasn't seen at least a frame of Everhart and Grieco's last coupling (they've made 3 films together), LAST CRY aka DANGEROUS DESIRES aka SEXUAL PREDATOR, apparently has a bedtime of seven o'clock. I've seen frames of it in at least four different cities (under each title). After the first credit sequence, we get a phenomenal scene between drug-dealers Zach Galligan, who can actually act, and Ice T, who can't, but who I love anyway for being in BREAKIN' 2 and John Wayne Bobbit's FRANKENPENIS (ohmigod!). Then we get ANOTHER credit sequence before meeting nice guy talent agent Richard Grieco and strip club owner Andrew Dice Clay (reprising his role from PRETTY IN PINK). Grieco whines that he doesn't want to be forty and hanging out in strip clubs, at which point I snicker, and Angie Everhart strips on stage. Now I'm confused, because Grieco looks right past Angie and starts coming onto his blonde waitress with a bad crimping job. You call yourself a talent agent? Angie Everhart is right behind you! Then we get a THIRD credit sequence. Grieco follows Crimpy to the Marmalade Café and advises her to get the chocolate shake instead of the strawberry before admitting, "I want you to come in and read for me," and convincing her that his request has nothing to do with her looks. I'm inclined to believe him, because of the CRIMPING! Crimpy goes home to her sister, Everhart, who wears overalls and barely talks. In all honesty, Crimpy talks about Angie like she's retarded, prompting Angie to re-iterate my thoughts from earlier and say, "I'm standing right here!" Crimpy's Biker boyfriend asks for "the clicker" and settles in for a long dangerous night of watching television. Eventually, Crimpy and Grieco fall in love, and Biker kidnaps Angie, because unbeknownst to her, she has some of Biker's drugs (refer to TRUE ROMANCE for more details on this plot).Bottom line: You will be tempted to watch because of the cast, but resist.

With an all star cast including Angie Everhart, Richard Greico, Andrew Dice Clay, and Sebastian Bach, how could this movie not be terrible? Well if it had a semi-coherent plot, decent attempts at acting by all the actors, decent characters, one or two gun fights that didn't look like little kids playing cowboys and indians... Any of those would have been enough. Alas, none of those things happened in this movie.Angie plays an epileptic, who also must be mentally retarded (the character not the model). Greico plays the world's only non-sleazy talent agent, alright Greico is inherently sleazy, but the character is supposed to not be (suspend disbelief alright!). Clay runs a nudie bar, and is well... Clay. Oh and Sebastian Bach and his hair play a tough. Alright so it is Sebastian Bach trying to play a guy who tries to play tough.Overall? 1/10 which is the least I am allowed to give!
