Surprisingly incoherent and boring

SERIOUSLY. This is what the crap Hollywood still puts out?

The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.

A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.

"Billu" is a bit slow and a simple film that tries to establish a relationship between the stardom and real life and presents a story of friendship. Storywise the film is simple and remains humble, and characters look simply down to earth and is quite well performed by Irfan Khan, Lara Dutta, and Shahrukh Khan. Few dialogues try to illustrate the line of separation between film fantasy and real life. This humble story can be appreciated for its simplicity, but the slow pace and unnecessary dragging of the film at the middle somehow makes it boring. Anyway. though the film is on a whole a bit an unmemorable time passer, its attempt to present the friendship between a poor barber and a film star is appreciable.Rating: 2 stars out of 4

The climax is special.. It made me cry. No words to describe. Watch it.It's worth watching the development of the main character as it all ends up well. Even those who seem to have nothing, have the biggest thing a human being can have.Every being is before anything else, human. This comes to show that no one is bigger than anyone else. Even the people in the TOP today were down under once. U don't grow alone without any help!For the nostalgia in the end 100/10. For the whole movie 8/10.The songs are nice, gaining fame, although some had no context in the movie.

"Billu" is the remake of the Malayalam movie "Kathaparayumbol". In fact "Kathaparayumbol" is 100 times better than this one. The songs in the movie Billu has got nothing to do with the movie. The songs were just a matter of adding Glamor to the movie. Once again Srk has proved that he is an overacting idiot! In certain scenes his acting was pathetic...especially when he was delivering that speech. Irfan was good. He was tailor made for doing the role....Lara was ordinary. What I feel is that Srk is trying to show off his stardom in this movie...Well...about Priyadarshan(director).. he s the biggest copy cat in the industry...he doesn't deserve a bit of reputation he has made. Finally...The movie sucked big time.....

The story is simple, but performances of Shahrukh Khan and Irrfan Khan are what makes the movie worth watching. The songs, even though not related to the story, are very entertaining and make the movie more fun to watch. The ending was predictable, but the performances saved the movie.Billu's wife looked way too beautiful to pass off as an average village girl. I'm no Bollywood fan so I did not know who the actress was. Throughout the whole movie, I kept thinking "how on earth did this super hot girl end up with this average looking man?" In the ending credits, I saw Lara Dutta. Miss Universe Lara Dutta!If you have some extra spare time, this movie is good enough not to waste it.
